well the parent company Takara make pullback cars called Choro-Q’s, which resemble the bodies on Digi-Q’s, alot of the cars you mentioned are out in Choro-Q form, it is possible to mod the chasis’s so they can fit on the Digi-Q’s, there is an s13, s15, r32, mx5, s2k, soarer, rx-7 series 1,4,5 and a prelude the older version in Choro-Q form. So if your serious, you’ll learn how to mod the chasis.

get yourself a ps2, a mod chip, and you’ll be all set, there is a game called initial d special stage, and it’s just as good as arcade stage, if not more, and has plenty of extras, i finished it over 6 months ago, i actually played it again a few days ago, and i was so shit, cos you need need to know what speed to go at a hairpin, and when to shift, that’s what happens when you don’t practise, anywayz, i highly recommend the game to anyone that likes initial d, btw, 4th stage should be released in japan in april

we need like 10 people + to get a group discount, i’ve asked them before, but anyway guys, we don’t need to book, we can go anytime, they have go kart races every 10 minutes, all we have to do is tell them when we want to race, and then they can organise something, i don’t think we’ll have to wait long, anyway, who else is gonna do the full package?, that is lasers mini golf and dodgems

    1 x Go-Kart ride
    1 x Laserforce Mission
    1 x Dodgem ride
    1 x Mini-Golf

Rookie Ride Value Pass – $25.90
Grand Prix Value Pass – $35.90

The rookie karts go approx 30km, so i wouldn’t recommend going on them, and apparently there are 2 circuits, so it would be cool if we can all race each other on the grandprix one, there is a discount if your under 18, so Leon and i won’t have to pay that much, lucky us!!!

    2 Rides $36.00 $39.00

    ROOKIE CIRCUIT

Each ride is approxamatley 8 to 10 minutes duration.

I recommend you guys get the yearly one, if i lived in melbourne, i’ld go every month, seriously guys, this place is so cool, they got everything a kid at heart, or a boy at heart would need.:smiley2:

yep, i’m in melbourne, i finally got acess to the net, well in a public library anyway, it would be great to finally meet up with some of the guys on ausmicro, or anyone else to have a chat or do something, will be here until the 26th or around that time. And for those of us wondering what betty.k means by go karts, there is a place in oakleigh called sidetracked, they got mini golf, dodgems, lasers, and 45km/ph go karts, at a very reasonable price, they also got pool and arcade games so it should be a fun day.

i’m in too, another suggestion is that the paying members are like stakeholders of aumicro, and we have a say in where the site should be going, and take actions if necessary, such as competitions, etc, funding meets for new members, and even spreading this forum around, i think i could get alot of new people to join, there should also be a change in the layout of the site, say different modes etc, this pale blue, is not the best colour in my opinion, and we could also change the forum, and go with something that loads up faster, and uses less bandwith, anyway guys keep those suggestions coming, this has been a strong forum since it’s opening, and hopefully we can make this stick, for years to come 🙂

I got the tamiya modelling putty for plastic, it says number 32, and it has an orange cap, what kind of putty would that be? Btw, should i really sand the surface off the shell, before i start, as this gives better results?, anyway man, i appreciate your info.

your amazing impreza, love the focus, you should do a 206 red marlboro version now, or even an f1 car, i got some putty at home, and i might actually try something, do you recommend anything, for a clear gloria or gt-r, btw, how does putty work, you just put it on and it dries? or is the process more in depth?

ph2t, all i can see is your a freak, i too am starting to endeavour painting, not bit shells, i might start soon though, but gundam models, i recommend you buy some gundam marker weathering pens, the paint comes out of a really small opening, and it is plastic, so it will be spread out evenly, and not go all over the place, you’ll be a master in no time, i’ll post some pics soon, i hear your trouble though, now i got to buy another felt pen for my models, because i damaged mine, the model only has one piece left, and a few weapons, i stuffed the pen up because i couldn’t wait for the paint to dry, and i was outlining the paint, i think everyone should know that patients is a virtue, not worth stuffing any thing up :smiley2:

ph2t, are you saying they can’t gurantee which shell you’ll get, and in what colour? I’m also wondering if you can pay toyeast by paypal, and how much they charge you on shipping, cos it might be a good idea if we do a group buy, as i hear toyeast over charge on shipping, anyway man, nice buy, the diablo gt-r is my favourite lambo shell 🙂

i was bored, so i wanted to do something a bit more creative, than making normal plastic models, i might try an f1 car soon, another reason why i made the helmet is because i get a sense of satisfaction when completing the work.
