yeah I took some photo’s whilst the resonator was removed so I can trace those lines….. I’m trying to re-construct the H-bridge circuit so I can understand how they get the brake function. All this info will eventually help me build my own turbo.

I’ve got a 7389 fet back on and it still works!!!!:) I’m happy. But now when trying to stack I need to remove that black box thing, the ceramic resonater….. There’s just not enough room to solder the stacked pads….arghhhh…………….

4.2s have torque, yes. BUT the 3.8’s have MORE torque. Once the racing surface becomes rough, the motor with the higher torque will in the end have a higher top speed. The assumption here is that the two motors have similar RPM’s, ie: a 3.8 and a 4.2.

In the end it’s down to cause and effect, just do it and see what happens….:approve:

Only on smooth surfaces like polished floors will a 4.2 run faster than a 3.8. 9 times out of 10 though the 3.8 is the better motor.

The 3.8 perfection is one of the best motors out there. It’s as if Perfection use different OEM’s for their motors. ie: the 3.0 and 3.5 are crap motors, the 4.2 & 4.2PRO aren’t too bad but none of them stand up to the torque of the perfection 3.8.
