I’ll put a list together man and let you know shortly. Can you get the GPM parts for the Madforce as well?
thanks hooooomey!
ph2t.
and I thought aftermarket parts on bits chewed the cash, lol…………
I just added him to my MSN but no luck yet…..
:approve:
thanks for the info fellas…..:approve:
Yeah I’ve got the GP 750mAh batts and I’m very happy with them….
I haven’t busted the front damper stay……yet! Lord knows from the jumps I was doing last night at betty’s that it should of..
Yeah I’ve noticed that GPM have bought out some parts but not the damper stay yet….
What’s the easiest way to contact bithead? What’s his turnaround time on orders?
cheers dude,
ph2t.
yeah, that’s next on the list.
oil shocks
bearings
foam inserts (soft)What mods have you done on your madforce dude?
ph2t.
z, it cost $145 USD + $35USD in shipping. In the same package I also bought some other sh1t. So the total cost for me was just over $300AUS…. I know, it’s a bit but it’s NOT a toy, a misconception held by many people.
I went over to a mates place to check out his new 1/10 nitro offroader. That thing cost him > $1000AUS once he finally walked out of the store.

Yeah they’re quite nice. I’m gonna paint the stock ones I’ve got and get some new alloys later on…..
First purchases will be for performance, ie: the oil shocks and the bearing kit….
ph2t.
it’s under the bonnet son…..
lol! 😀
haha, nice one dude! The doona it at my bro’s house. The little woman won’t even let the Z near the doona given that it’s a (and I quote) ” a dirty little thing that has prolly got dirt and crap all over it!”……
Of course that’s true…..

YEah, couldn’t help myself in the that second last pic dude.:approve: My brother is the looking for where the Monster went. He thinks they’re mad!

nah, he just copies…….
nah, he just copies…….
Depends on the charge rate of C. If you look at the data sheet it says that at or below a charge rate of 2C you can use the MAX713 for both types…….. There’s a table on one of the pages, can’t remember which, sorry……..
ph2t.
Hmm, we have 4 Melbourne pukes with mini-z’s or mini-z clones……….. C’mon we’ve gotta have a meet soon!
ph2t.
Kero, a few things man….
First I want to confirm that the two solder pads on the left with the holes in the PCB are the two pads you screw the motor terminals into???
If there are…..
The left side has two small packaged chips, each with 8 pins, 4 on each side. Looking at the top one of the two you will notice strange marks? Perhaps it’s dead…..
I say remove BOTH fets and fet mod it with some IRF7389’s…
Cheers,
ph2t.
sounds like half of the fets are fried….Can you take a pic of the PCB?
nice info man! well done!

Hey HFi, the heat sink is more like a triple heatsink, three soldered together! 😀
I use a perfection 3.8 motor, that’s the fastest motor around basically. The motor gets VERY hot! That’s why I put the extra heatsinks……
