track maker software that i have seen is just the same as lego track, the curves are all the same 90 degree sweeps.
on both my ones i used vinyl flooring material for the track barriers cut into 2cm wide strips.
once the srtips where measured and cut i then used pva glue to attach them to the mdf board base. using acrylic paint from the newsagent, pva and mdf board from the hardware you can make a track with a very small amount of cost.
the vinyl i use is from a sample book i found at a recycled art supply shop but you should be able to get new stuff in the form of off-cuts for cheap as well.
i suggest making a small one first for gaining some experiece before attemting a larger one.

are you and anarchon building one together?
heres a pic in the ausmicro gallery, thanx to Aaron pics should be a bit easier to veiw from now on…
first thing for drifting is a nice track…
and then some synthetic oil strategicly spread on the outer side of the corners.the barriers on the track are good to practice with because you can measure how succesful your drift skills are by attemting to not totally loose control and not slide into the walls.
the trick is aiming to get the front wheels clear of the oil but let the rears get into it.
to much oil tho and you’ll have nothing but slip and slide, so less is more fun.
BUILD A TRACK! bcgs arnt half as fun without one.
resize the images when you save them for use on the internet, and trim any excess details while your there…
looks cool, was it like a remote controled slot car (xcept for the mini-4wd tracks)?
at toys r us they have import tuners on sale, one of them has an identicle supra spoiler mounted on it in plastic.
i suppose the one you need is black as well?
z-beam…. similar to an x-ray but not…
sorry i didnt get back online in time, i had a week long buisness trip in brisbane and couldnt get the details e.t.c…
i did find out the hard way about the local hobby supplier mark-ups tho… $150 for a gpm ball diff, kyosho bearings and an x-speed motor.
all works great but the price is crazy…
one name springs to mind…. shypo…
but his was not jealousy it was fear of not being a spammer extrodinaire:smiley2:
the number.1 rule of the bruce club was no poofs allowed!
if that took you ten seconds then forget what i said about doing sigs. you got some good skills guys.
and jamie your burnout is fully sik maaaaate!
watch your toungue jamie, kitty’s got claws that cut real bad dude…
a nice scalpel realy helps when shaving away the inside of a shell, i took a gram of excess out of a supra once.
under the bonnet and the inside of the rear end (avoid the tabs tho) have a lot of extra plastic that isn’t really needed for this scale.
is it as lame as runescape? i’ve been wasting too much time on their servers lately…
warning: laptops are condusive to staying up till sunrise because you can hook em up all around the house, in motels, at freinds places and while visiting relatives. they can lead to your girlfreind being pissed off becoming and estranged from freinds as you become more involved with online activities.
apart from that nonsense their great!
and congratulations!

i got two entries in the works right now…cant wait for the comp to get started, i’m sure the community here will thrive with some more incentives…
so what sort of prizes are going to be up for grabs i wonder?
toys in boxes are useless, if you are going to collect an item allways get a duplicate.
one to enjoy (and keep forever) and the other to stay collectible and as mint condition as possible.
i want to get it started!!! just some minor details Aaron… please!
i’m down. i gotta get a look at the site again for the bits i’m after. because im so far north of sydney yet not in queensland (byron bay) i’ll get you to send em streight to me ph2t.

the star wars lightsaber toys are awesome.
the original ones had the accurate start up sound, the light slowly pulsed with the “voooom voooom” sound and when they got a shock “vash” and the light got brighter…
so much fun untill… you go a bit too hardcore with them and the telescopic plastic gets knocked out of em cos your having too good a time…
but definatly worth the money, only if you buy a pair. ive seen blue, green, a mace windu purple one and the dooku red recently…
but you MUST get 2 to have the best fun with them, outdoors, at night, where it is dark…
foxtel digital is what i got. most of the aussie tv shows are just crap, but then again 80% of the stuff on cable aint worth watching either…
some real awesome stuff on the comedy channel and mtv have just started. the man show: beer, jokes, titties, midgets and hotties jumping on trampolines at the end of every show!
