    what sort of bit did you buy? sounds like its a cheap clone. what shell did it come with and are the windows clear or not?where abouts in canada are you?

    IF you have any crystals or minerals ( yes rocks from the ground) that you have found in canada that you can identify i will swap you a set of gears/axle for some.

    has any body seen rumblerobots? they are much bigger than combat q check em out at http://www.wumblerobots.com. they are releasing a range called rumble wars that looks very promising: infa red control that can switch between controling the tanks or operating a gattling gun mounted on a base!aswellas being larger the tanks also are different by having Five blast away armour zones! there is also a jet available but it looks like the only thing it does is move its wings a little. the base has four army men laying prone on as many platfoms that fling the soldiers off as they get hit only in america at the moment though (bummer)

    i bought two robots at kmart ‘ lug nut and bolt man and about 60$ worth of cards for them. instead of a chip with set attributes you use cards with barcodes to define speed, defense, lasers, punch and power level. at first i thought it was a scam but after many battles im sold on the idea as there are so many variations possable especially when you are limited to 3 cards per battle

    shypo could you tell me from your experience which range mods achieve the best result and for the newbies out there a brief description of how to do it.

    the dick smith (enertec) car went about 12meters before the signal dropped out. it had a telescopic antenna (gonna use it on my skyline eventually)

    thanks

    yeh shypo supposedly 35, 45 ,57 and any other non standard freq. can effect communications and heart monetering gear. not to shure on how much it affects them though im sure a little bcg is isnt going to have the same effect as a stadium blitzer or some other large scale r/c.

    the way i found out about the fine was ina shop in melbourne, the owners had bought a 100mhz microphone transmitter that could cut in over the com net of any sporting event or concert. they took it to a cricket match and within 15 minutes of turning it on they were arrested and fined!!!

    i salvaged the dual nimh battery pack and split it for 2 separate 1.2v batteries. the motors quite cunky but it has 2 wires (1 black 1 red) coming out the end, has any body worked out how to adapt the motor?

    didnt bother fixing mine as i already own 2 official bcg’s, the steering doesnt work properly because of the plastic chassis being to long and the steering nuckles not being big enough.

    if the actual tires are catching then u need to cut the inside of the body away using fine sand paper or a blade

    havn’t had any probs with the 1.0 if you want to go slow then try these. alternatly whack a 2.6 in her bit when she is not looking get her to think its a 2.2 and then tell her if she wants to go slow to use “the yellow one”.

    the kit racer axles will slow down a 2.2 quite a lot as well

    e=(mc)2

    light is energy and when light energy hits a solid it reflects and a portion and the rest is transferred into heat. also if your not using rechargable batteries the cell uses decay to release electrons. that also gives off heat. flashing lights? magnetic fields!id bet you money that would affecty signal.

    the point is caine, do you want a showbit, turbobit or a racebit because face it arn’t they different things. dont they each deserve their own even playing feild?

    i’d love a showbit with all those lights fitted but fixing it up with dual cells and giving it lots of cosmetic attention is hard to justify. no more table top racing( be to easy to fall of the cliffs)

    i shaved one edge of the motor bay so that i could fit the 6 or the 7 spoked pinion gear. before it wouldnt work for the same reason.

    by the way does the special edition come with an eight spoked pinion gear? i bought an oem special edition rx7 that had 3.0 motor and pink gears that give awesome top speed.
