i lost the grub screw from my gpm ball diff and i got some replacements from a r/c plane shop.

only cost me $1.50 for three of them but they are a bit too long for the hole.

when adjusting/tightening the diff whats the best setting for different surfaces? i think i’m running mine a bit to loose at the moment.

plasticard is what i’m making em out of as well.

it was so fiddly making the spoiler supports but i did it… looks a bit huge but i’ll make it work, you’ll get some pics as soon as the competition is ready to roll.

nothing beats competitive racing, whos got the supra? they are the best for track work because the squareness of skylines tend to be a disadvantage.

that foamcore stuff sounds great for modeling and rails, but i would suggest the mdf over cardboard as its strength means it wont break on you.

can the foamcore be spraypainted froggy?

if you want it set up permanatly it aint going to look nice with a cover over it… the only other solution is make a clear perspex case for the whole setup… lotsa $$$$ for that option.

talldude, if the track is dusty i advise a slightly moist face towel wipe down of the entirety of the track… do not use bcg’s in a dusty environment it will mean hours of servicing time removing front wheels from the knuckles to get all the built up dust out of them.

a matt varnish spray really helped my track to be a bit more tolerant to the occasional clean up.

motors i use are clone yellows for sbcg and lots of crashing at first, and for when the freinds have a go basic bcg’s with 1.6 motors.

the only upgrades i give them to choose from are suspenion,tyres and gears.

sure is two pieces, but unlike my first one this has a lot of scenery that prevents it from being stacked. allthough i like the scenery the next track(s) are going to be an even height for storage.

and on the subject of storage,on their side leaning up against an even surface and in from humididty to avoid warping. laying them flat is nice if you have the space (and a really understanding gf)but i would suggest using a cover of some kind to keep the dust off when not in use.
