looks cool. what colour you gonna paint it?
make sure you trim the molding lines before you do paint it!

why not fill that ugly hole in the back window and make an aerial(?) hole that is less huge in the front bonnet corner.
also maybe have a go cutting the front and rear vents out and using a hash pipe screen or fly screen cover the holes from the inside…

sure there is some skill in producing a bcg rocket but really where in the world do you expect to find a big, flat (really flat) surface to get the most out of it?

does anyone else race their bcg’s???

ive only had about 2 hours worth on my new 2 board track but that was enough to convince 2 of my freinds to grab a car for themselves. watching their skill progress enough to get around the track without crashing was a milestone.

going back to the old test track after the struggle of the big un’ showed that from being novices who could hardly work out left from right are now very competitive within an hour.

speed is nothing without the skill to control… if you want fast, go buy a rocket kit and launch the f*cker horizontally!!!

a super bit with a 4.2 from TE works very well with the blue kit gears. im sure it would go better with fets and an extra cell tho…

i dont need any more speed for racing, so im pretty happy with what i’ve got.

merc, have a look at an older thread called gear ratios or calculating gear ratios for some more info…

f*ck the laws of pennsylvania!!! they must brew some poor brew in that part of the country to have laws like that!

does that mean at a bar you gotta buy a jug? or can you get a glass?

stout is allright, i dont mind it. i reckon its good but others steer clear of its thickness.
the english invented a type of beer called a porter that is like the taste of good stout but thinner like an ale.
you get any brew with yeast still in the bottom of the bottle? we get coopers and its probably the best of the bunch in australia. especially the vintage ale (2 years in the bottle and 7.5 percent alc.)..

    “There’s also a new Touareg “

i saw the v10 turbo diesel version (real life) pulling a combine harvester on tv the other week. the best offroader in my mind at the moment…

i know the curved gutters you mean, i used to use ’em as jumps for my bmx when i was younger around my local town. if your gonna get something to do that get a truck! something that is built to jump…

(not that i know a thing about larger than 1/32 scale)

betty, there is a mod at the original QFM mod site that lets you use a bit-racer 7 tooth pinion with any bcg gear set. it is the motor balance mod, basically you need two matching flat pointed screws that fit into the motor bay of the bcg. screw em in untill they angle the motor to get the right amount of mesh between the gears…

that and do a bit of shaving around where the pinion goes…

one of my bits run an 8 tooth pinoin! niiice top speed!!!

sure did paint the gtr2000. it was a combo of a warm red and fiery orange. i used my minature painting techniques on it, to slowly get the colour brighter on all the details i wanted to pick out.

when i was younger my favorite looking car was a holden torana in that red/orange. the skyline shell was the closest match to the original so i did my best from memory to get the colour as acurate as posible.

hachi, did you see the Bbeast mounted on the monster chassis yet?
