Site Owner Guy.The RC Racing Model stuff is ‘common’ to a lot of other brands. A lot of it comes from the same maker in different colours.

Site Owner Guy.Your experience with RCMart/Dinball may be a bit of a freak occurence but that’s why ausmicro.com sells stuff these days and will be selling more. You deal with someone in your country that you can get in touch with (by phone if you have to) without difficulty!
So now whatdidyaget? 😉

Site Owner Guy.OK here’s what I did:
Take the three (duplicated entries) by Leonli (and any other duplicate entries) and add all the unique votes together to get a score for that car. If there were multiple votes cast by one person then I took their highest vote and discarded the lower one/s.
So in Leonlis case his entry was repeated three times, he collected votes on all three, I took the tally of the UNIQUE votes to arrive at his total.
I had to do this for a couple of others as well.
Overall Votes:
Talldude – 109
Leonli – 108
z-Beam – 108They’re the top three placings.
HACHI-RYOKU held out the numerically third place and the next grouping with tight competition from Betty.K and z-Beams other entries.
Noteable mentions go to Finks who really put in some great entries and JamieK for scooping up a good good load with a car that is no longer in ‘circulation’.
My Observations
I logged the date/time votes came in and really many people voted in the last couple of days! Most people voted in a ‘burst’ near the end of the comp, while a few voted on each entry as it was posted.I think the voting system is ‘fair’ but for the next Competition I will implement a way of correcting entries that have upload errors or other problems BEFORE they are published for voting.
And last of all – The prize!
For all his trouble Talldude will receive a modest prizepack consisting of ausmicro.com Mini-Z performance parts, Power tyres Mini-Z foamies, a couple of S-BCG shells and decal sheets.A.

Site Owner Guy.No other ‘style’ choices. They’re not there for looks 😉
Yeah I took a guess that ‘soft’ would do the trick – I’ve tried mediums on everythign and still got bugger all wear. But they do need to get warm to grip. I belive ‘Soft’ will work right up into summer then you guys may want to try ‘Medium’

Site Owner Guy.*NOTE* Power Tyres Foamies come pre-bonded to Chrome Rims. The Wide and Standard width rims are exactly the same offsets as Kyosho wheels of the same width.
Roe I’ll be working out final pricing etc tomorrow and will post details then.
Essentially they will become a stock item (like bearings, nuts, heatsinks for motor and batteries) but the first order will probably have a lot of pre-order space.

Site Owner Guy.I hear Dave showed up with a car that went fast in a straight line and now also corners 😉

Site Owner Guy.We run a few lightly modded (suspension and FETs with stock and X-Speeds) cars for testing of stuff and for enjoyment.
Pics of our ‘new’ Skyline shell will be up eventually, once it’s back from it’s little ‘trip’.
They’re basically just cars we test fit patrs to, test drive stuff and all that.

Site Owner Guy.z-beam That’s what’s taking my time. I’ve had to remove duplicate votes etc.
However when it’s come down to it there’s not much space at the top!
I’ll be posting full results tonight!
A.

Site Owner Guy.Yes they are 😉

Site Owner Guy.So dgs you reckon that little ‘surprise’ yougot in the post this week will improve the grip level?
A.
--
Site Owner Guy.OK.
I have cleaned up the entries. Plus there is a number at the bottom of each entry. This is the result for that entry. Where there were duplicate entries I’ve had to manually add everything together.
Expect a larger more detailed post shortly!
A.

Site Owner Guy.*grins* Shortly shortly 🙂
A.

Site Owner Guy.Yes not long now!
The voting system is designed to encourage ‘interesting’ patterns!

Site Owner Guy.I’ve tested the video, it definately works so it’s likely to be a “CODEC” problem at your end Jay-Z…

Site Owner Guy.Speed Improvement
I have modified the Gallery Display and Gallery Manager code to reduce the ‘load’ on the server with some excellent results in testing on both this server and our new one.It would appear to be about 1/3rd the process time now!
w00t!
All I can say is I must have coded that bit really really late at night!
