that is prolly to do with th gearing 🙂
SO IS CHILLZ 😛
Initial D (Project D) 27mhz – NO cripple cap….
wish I found this thread earlier….I opened it up and found out I didn’t have one! :smiley7:I was hoping to get a better range….stock is pretty bad…maxes out about 3meters.
and vw beetle fans:

damn picture didnt work… just right click and go to properties to find out where it is…
its on this page: http://www.steffen-2cv.de/Modelle/RC_elektro/Bit_Char-G/bit_char-g.html
“As far as I can work out, they’re all running on the 35MHz frequency and ship with a 2.2motor. “
for this page: http://www.blackadderhall.com/bitchar-g/showroom/oem_thunder.htm
looks sweet 🙂
Whats the G-23 Skyline look like .. ? Any pics ??
darrynsretrorc, shonky ?? Where are you guys ??
Anyone else been trying to get other batteries in ??
Any input will be appreciated 🙂
Thanks
Looks good to me and it’s in a 57mz, the one frequency I don’t have.
I had a look at our equivalent…Maplins but they were pricey so I ended up buying a new cheapo radio and ripping it off of it. Saved money and my mate got the radio free! 🙂 Winners all round. Mind you, its only given me slightly more range….2 metres more maybe.
matty- I just picked up the 4 models they had availiable- 2 ship with 2.2 motors (M1) and 2 with 2.6 motors (M2)
the heatsinks, tires, and batteries are compatible, but that’s about it.
the axles don’t fit and even if they did the gearing wouldn’t mesh properly.
I haven’t seen the official tomy japanese bit racer release, but the chroming on the wheels looks MUCH better than the stock bit char-g wheels.
for 39$ they also make a track set that comes with a “bonus” car and extra tuneup parts- this seems the same as the stock figure eight track tomy makes, but with an analog lap counnter, not the digital one they make as an addon.

I got my Bit Char-G, finally.
It’s a Nissan Skyline in Blue. No Mods yet.
I ordered a Bit char-g from Toyeast on august second and supposedly it shipped the third and it’s estimated to arrive in twelve days ( the 15th) I’m in Pennsylvania so THat’s pretty good
I’ll tell you when I get it.

its a diecast, yes, and ur right that the weight is a little problem. car is moving even slower than the plastic cars. but it s moving ;). so its not for racing but a show car :D.
which is faster
Is that a diecast or plastic matchbox? I’ve been really uncuccessful in cutting the diecast bodies cleanly- not to mention the added weight can’t be good on the motors.

If someone found it on the supra, I’d be very grateful.

I LOVE that TT soft-top! Nice bit of work – you should be very proud of that!

Yes Payaso, my cars did come from TTOYSINC and all with the 2.6 motor. I wish we could post pics here, I finished my drop top Rx7, I did post it on TINYRC’s forum.http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=348cbab3c9e8b4bee3d67a2723826df5&threadid=472
Hey guys, if any of you contributed to this database with a no answer to your particular car and later found it on the under side of the controller, could you please post something up saying that you found it? There are a couple of cars that have both yes and no answers.
Oh, and sorry ylexot. I didn’t know u were updating it every once in a while. Very informative post, btw! Lets others make better decisions in purchasing a bit char-g – including myself! :smiley14:
i did this one:

build out of an matchbox car. its easier than u might think. just cut the body in the middle, cut away about 1cm of the chasis, put it back together and model the edges with some kit.
thanks guys… I think I figured out my problem. I had switched back to the 2.2 motor that came with the s2000 and then back to the 2.6 motor. Dunno how the draw on the batteries must have been a little heavy or something. I am getting around 5 min now. Thanks a lot guys for the input!! Much appreciated!:smiley4:
depends on what you want…. mioni-z is smaller i believe
Deejay……Basically the arrangement goes…
One on the inside
Two cells hotglued and taped together tucked under the cut out rear window of the Accord shell. All the batteries fit neatly inside the shell which is a real bonus.
I cant post up any pics but I’ll email a couple to you.
