    Sorry to hear this…

You should havepicked up the kid””s bike and launched it several metres into the air in a fit of rage.. that should make you feel better…

I think the parents should be responsible for the damage that their kids cause. The lack of discipline these days disgusts me…

i was thinking more of sticks chucked into front spokes, but that’s not nice. As for the dicipline… best not to get me started. But i will say that in my young day (lol old foagie term!) it was’nt assault to smack your kid. These days parents can get sued by their offspring for that sort of thing. That’s f*#ked. Whats that expression? Spare the rod, spoil the child? Anyway… Enough of this, i feel 60 years old. Pete; true, but there was’nt much of a job to finish after the days activities. This week, track goes again. At least they wont rideover that… will they? Fingers crossed…

not happy, Jan… Aaron; pretty as that Supra was, unfortunantly it did not survive yesterday’s incidents… So that Esso i’ll grab this week. For sure. Other carnage? Well, my 02 got grabbed byTWO dogs, my 01 Merc shell is split up the centre, and the Dynacity Supra is DEAD AS. I mean there’s nothing left. Makes me want to cry… On the upside, at least all of our electronics survived. Just, in some cases…

i got pretty lucky… the instructions that came with mine had set ups (droop, toe in, camber, everything) for various different track surfaces and layouts. My other method was to note rthe setup it had, and adjust things one at a time, and compare lap times pre and post change. If faster, go with the new change. If your time increases, go back to the previous setting and try something different. Hope this helpsxp1700.gif

Z Beam; yeah, I knew that. We had a chat about it last night, he thought i had the 900s in the 01. But it was nt the runtime, it was the performance. Is there a trade off in that respect (ie. punch vs. runtime)? Hope that made sense dude… TD; every friday mate, so yes will be therenext week.

02is unfetted too (and willstay that way…), add to that the motor in the 02 is as yet not broken in, so i d guess there’s a tiny bit more speed to be squeezed out of it yet. Pete; yes, Sanyo 900s in the 01, and Sanyo 800s in the 02. What you saying anyway dude? Now that i’ve put it like that it seems the 800s were getting better performance than the 900s, hence the greater speed in the 02. Less powerful batts., one less tooth on the pinion, and an unbroken in motor. My 01 should have eaten it alive. I’ll be sticking with the 800s, me thinks. TD; track will be out again this Sunday, you guys by chance NOT racing at Tempe this week?

I second that motion. X speed again proved itself down at Meadowbank on Sunday too… who says you cant go fast with stock(ish) motors? Just quietly, my 01 with a 10 tooth and X speed is slower than my 02 with 9 tooth and X speed. Odd, and not just a little bit slower too. Alot. And that 01 is fast for an unfetted car

True. I guees I was comparing to the video of the rc18t on the AE web site where it goes so damn quick….

So who is getting one ? I ”’m having trouble finding a decent place to run my rc18t apart from the local park, but the grass is too high there.

maybe later down the track i’ll get one. For the moment the Mini T does the job, but i’ll guess that eventually i’ll want to try 4wd offroading, and the scale is more appealing than 1/10 for me in that respect

    it’s BACON!!!!!!!!!!

my x speed pro is a bit odd… does nt have any go at all for some reason. Comparable to the X speed (K) in an unfetted car (12t pinion too). So I agree Aaron; the quality is most definately variable. Was running mine with the older (and still running strong after almost 2 years!!!clap.gif) IRF7389 fets. Maybe it’s an Iwaver X speedwith a pro sticker on it? Still pulling high 50s with the rebuilt P.D. though
