yeah, i know what you mean… bit of a slow day here… as soon as i take posession of this AWD, drift pics and vid will be rife in this topic… positively bouncing in my chair here in anticipation…

after watching that second video 3 times in a row just now, I have concluded that the Z on the track is not an AWD,neither is the one doing circle work on the floor, but it washarder to tell with that one… compare the driving in both vids…
you know me guys… i like a few options… hahaha. But I do like these blue rims, they’d look cool on the 350Z Calsonic… hmmm…
Zbeam they’re the one and the same… will get onto it asap. Will call you over the weekend, have to discuss a few things with you… as for measurements, i can just scan in the original triangular piece with sits under the h-plate (or the h-plate itself; that’s easier
), clean up the image, and extend it from there. Too easy
oooh, happy happy, joy joy!! I’ll call you tonight… 😉
yes I can… just remembered then… smoke grey OL chassis w/ gold terminals… not sure what else there is though.
Aaron; my cash will be in your hands Friday 18th Nov. for the AWD… Zbeam; still got stuff for you atmy placefrom Aaron, been there so long I cant remember whats in the bag!!!
could I grab a set of narrow 0 offset softs please? Pretty right for all other sizes…
very nice… good to see the McLaren SLR getting a use… even as asafety car…
oh, forgot; Kev; Ferrari 575GTC… red or yellow. Aaron; any chance of a redASC in the nearing future?

btw. what ferarri is that ? I can”t browse rcmart from work pc.
yeah, I totally agree with you Kev… all the Calsonics have a high level of detail, the 350Z being no exception. (detailed to the point that it’s even got the Tamiya decals like it’s full size counterpart!! Now that’s authenticity on Kyosho’s part!!)At the mo she’s a shelf queen, but who knows! Maybeone day it’ll even get a run!!
sorry, been out on site for the last couple of hours, otherwise would’ve replied to this again… but if possible i’ll takea red one please…
firstly, welcome fast4buy…
holy heck!!!
they be some pretty rolling stock there… especially like you take on Christine… Zbeam; this idea might be better and cheaper than custom making h plates outta pcb, plus acrylic wont cost me…your call…
yeah, the both of us… AAaron a while ago offered me an 02 readyset of this, shoulda snapped it up!! Oh well, might have to get the red ASC… I will say though, this shape does not stand up to racing well (MZR for those of you interested…) Will have to buzz Aaron later…
hahahaha… as for the track, same reason we gave up on rcp is cost… shipping is the biggie. ugh. And bring on the 1 min. lap times… we can but dream… for the moment…
if i’m not wrong the F1uses zero offset all round (a mate of mine has one or two), but you could add maybe a mm of rear to widen the track. Let me know how you go; have been looking for some 02 alloy rims w/ 0 offset for a while now… not looking too hard though
Pete; be prepared for a little fine tuning with a dremel, those alloy gearbox cases can (not will)need some slight (i said slight!!) modding to fit… bugger alloy dude. The cash you spend can see you in plastic spares long before you’re motor carks it due to the extrastress. So;extra weight = extra load = stressed motor = stressed peteWah…
or you could try the Tamiya Rev Tuned… just need to add your own wires… easy peasy…
1:28 racing on concrete? meh, been there done that
great vid, you sure know how to set up a quick backyard track.
RCP tracks were way out of our price cat. too, check out what we’ve done for 1/10th the price of RCP!!! btw, ph2t; RCP = 1/28 scale racetrack, PCP = mind bending and illegal drugs.
you guys are just waaay too hard on your OLs… still waiting for something suspension mount related to give way… have just swapped to H2 Hummer (longest wheelbase)so damage is ensured, if not desired
no no no… nothing like that… thought they’d be available already. Maybe a bit soon eh?
one size fits all? Adjustable or ‘full back’ fitted? Show us from the back dude!!! Oh, and i’ll take one… Hard for me to put a figure on it, but i’d say 20-25 bucks? 30 if fitted?
mine get a majority of their run time on netball courts… my original set (purchased easily over a year ago) still have a lot of wear left in them.
Zbeam; and ofnext year? why the wait??
Zbeam; yep. Like we discussed on the phone tho (and as you mention above…
), will need the chassis and shell so I can make it a good fit.
