are the cars 1:64 scale or 1:100?
if its 1:64 then a 1/4 mile = 6.25m
1:100 a 1/4 = 4m
check on the other side of thecontroller pcb there might be a cripple cap hiding there.
jrc2005,the idea is that you can use multiple cars, with the tomy counter u canonly use1 car…
i wanted to be able to see the leds, like those neons u stick under your doors….only problem is they are abit wonky
is it a black round cylinder about a 1cm long? if so you might wanna solder that back on. If its damadged you can get another one from any electronics store for like 35c
its not really that hard to make a multiple car lap counter. all you need is to attach an ifrared transmitter under the shell of each car with a small tube or a hole to focus the beam so it only shines out the side in a 1 or 2 mm beam, you then need to have a reciever hooked up to acounter for each car, when the car passes the start/finish the beam shines into the reciever and triggers a logic high, which triggers the counter/timer
Its possible to make a transmitter out of a few components that will run on 3volts and fit under a shell, i can find kits availible on the web but I am still looking for a schematic..
ive found a 3 freq schematic here but they dont tell u what the chip is, so u have to buy from them…
http://www.rentron.com/remote_control/tinyir.pdf
I’ll keep looking, and post as soon as i find a viable schematic….
ive got a compact skyline GTR on 27MHz and an RX7clone on 49MHz
lmao “89 colt w/ 4G63 motor “.
colts rock. nothing like handbreakys in a front wheel drive…
i have this problem with my skyline (2.2)i found that if i added a soft suspension spring to one side it would help the car stay straight.
My clone with a 2.6 doesnt seem to have this prob tho.
if teflon is non-stick how do they get it to stick to frypans?
lmao, u should make a tunnel aswell, then when u go in together u have no idea whos who…
it’d be good for a bitrally, you could set up stages and record times, like a proper rally, and have stage winners and overall and stuff.
i think its a drawing pin, holding the rubber down…
ive just got my whole electronics work bench…. theres alot of tools and stuff.
is that an audi?
lmao. i can imagine seeing pcain on the news for having 2000 cars pulling him along…
anyway i want one of those purgeout 206s
ha, i think wrx’s are a wate of money, my1976 hj monaro GTS (with extractors) will beat a wrx over 300m and it only cost me $2500. im rebuilding the engine with flat-tops, forged piston, moly rods, lifters, and a new camso im expecting at least250kW at the fly.
i can prob help you out, where you live?
i want a snork-mobile! lmao
one of the steering wires(tiny enamel ones)might be short circuting..try moving the wires around abit, but be careful they break easily…
LEDs wont put out alot of heat unless you pump more than 3v though them. i remember i used to put LEDs in my afx cars, 12v + led= melted plastic.
it the ultraman cosmo car a jensen? it looks alot like one!
have you got the correct polarity for the stand alone charger? try swapping the wires…
when looking at the bottom of the car, with the nose to the left and the rear to the right, the wire from the positive end of batteries corresponds with the bottom contact.
hope this helps
i found that often computer cables have long screw type things that you can use for joysticks, the best ones ive found came with a shell for a db25 computer connector from dicksmiths, only costs a couple of bucks…
lmao some people have too much time on their hands..
