if the car charges but it wont turn, maybe you cut the wrong thing… if so go down to your local electronics store and get a replacement capacitor and solder it back in…
put try putting the hard tyres on the front, you get heaps of understeer but when the backsteps out, you drift like a pro.
I could send you a new40mhz s2000 or skyline, but Im not sure how we’d do this, i guess id just send it to you and you send the zip zap as soon as you get the chag-G…
does anyone know a safe way to trade goods internationally?
chances are you havent stuffed it, ive had this problem where ive taken apart my tx and it hasnt worked upon putting back together, i just dissassembled it, re-assembled, took the batterys out, put em back in and eventually it started working again…
only if you send me a zip zap…..
man stop reposting your post, its annoying
mine did that after i dismantled the controller…i dismantled again and put back together and it magically worked
yeah, im working on the line locker so i can press a button to turn it on/off, so i dont have to pick it up and jam pebbles in the wheels. and i havent done the speed control yet cause i cant find a pot small enough at my house. i guess ill have to cough up 40c and buy one…
i use 4 AAs in series for about 90 seconds
yeah i was going to put a solenoid so it pushes against the ground at the front, but the core would probably interfere with the steering magnet.
ki chaged it up thenheld down forwards and lightly pressed a knife edge against the wheelsto make em perfectly rounded and flat. its not really recomended cause if you slip you can stuff you axle, and your tyres wont really fit..
a rev limited in this case basically limits the revs of the motor so it will limit the top speed. so you could runa motor 2.2 motoras a 1.0….
a line locker stops the fron wheels from moving so you can do phat burnouts on the spot. the term “line locker” comes from locking the front brak lines in real cars….
ive got a dual battery skyline with a 2.2 and tint.ive trued the real axle and am working on arev limiterand a line locker.by the time im finished with it there wont be much chassis left……
yeah hardersuspension springs help in keeping all four wheels in contact with the ground. less spin outs / better handling
also if you car veers to one side or turns better one way you can add a harder or softer spring on that side to fix it.
ha, im working on ultra hard compound tyres so you better watch out….
yeah ill get a kit as soon as i find my kmart voucher…
but for now, anyone up for a burnout comp!!!
yeah ill get a kit as soon as i find my k-mart voucher….
but for the moment, anyone upfor a burnout comp!
i noticed this happened with mine too, its a pressure fracture from the heatsink pressing against the plastic, get some goodmodellers glue and dont unclip the heatsink unless absolutely nessesary.
just melt the coating off with a lighter
yeah and we could arm them with mini flame throwers and tiny bits of C4….lmao
thats insane!
id give you a welcome hug but id look stupid hugging my monitor!
you might have to dissasemble the motor and resolder a contact to the internal wiring….
put a blob of solder on the remaining bit of contact
man get a can of ultrasolve or other electronic contact cleanerit cleans off all corrosion and excess flux.
i have no idea how old i was, but if it was in 92 that’d make me 9 at the time
