Well, im building a motorised scooter (engine, gearbox, frame, drive system etc.), buying meself a phone, keeping up with fashion and a few other things, so unless i can get one chaep as chips it aint gonna happen.

True, but they may aswell make the chassis from spaghetti, its so weak!!

I ran my hopper many times without rebuilding the motor (i attack the comm with brasso as i don’t have a lathe). But my mini Z motor needs to have the comm cleaned and the brushes re-seated after 5-10 runs.

If you put chunky large diameter tyres on it you can use all sorts of “terrain” like “rocks” and deep “snow” (flour)

It’s a 1/16 scale car….not the best performer but hey….innovative.

Yeah the shape looks weird, and i thought “brick” when i saw it but its slim and feels much like a wallet in the pocket.

The games are exeptionally good, i played one the other day, awesome graphics!!

It also has an mp3 player, and an FM radio, and plays the MP3’s without the need of headphones.

micro, Thats majorly crappy, i was thinking a fet modded SBCG would be sweet.

The PCB is a weird shape too, sort of hexagonal.

Personally i dont like dual cell cars, too heavy.

One thing I noticed about the SBCG is, that when i chuck my lucifer rotor (favourite little motor) in a normal bit, it is sluggish and has zilch torque.
I put the 3.0 in the SBCG and its insanely torquey and fast….weird, im guessing a better FET or something is being used….

The cell, a sanyo NiCad N50AAA…..aaaarrrrrgh TOMY stop being so fucken stingy and give us a 150mAh NiMH cell!!!!!

The reverse logic system is (my guess) so you cant drive the old bits with the New TX. There is the 2 buttons on the new TX, i guess one is booster/function and the other is…..hmmmm maybe tomy will release something new that uses the other button??
I had a peek inside the chassis and TX, the PCB in the TX is soldered directly to the battery teminals (annoying!!!)

Panda, you should know about peaks, when a motor first starts up, or gets locked the current draw is around 10 times the current draw, this is only for a small fraction of a second, and can blow an esc.

A piece of black tape on the bottom of the chassis will stop spome of the crap getting into the car.
