    Impreza, on 2 cells the motor lasts ages. Ive also noticed that the 1.6-2.2 motors have way more power than the 3.0 when used with a dual cell chassis. The 3.0 is sluggish as, and doesnt go that fast, the 1.6/2.2 acceleration is EXPLOSIVE, and the top speed is huge, like 4 times as fast as stock. All i want now is proportional control (working on it) and ill have a sick drift car :evil::evil:

    Ive done a temporary 3 cell mod but it didnt worry the Power Transistors.

    Problem is you will have reduced power, running a taller gear ratio…….basically you will have very little power.

    Hmmmm ive tried changing the capacitor in the circuit, but it doesnt help much. I need to find a way of isolating the charging circuit from the Tx circuit. If i can do this then i can put a DC jack in the Tx case, which connects to the charging circuit. Then a separate 3-4 cell pack can be plugged in to do the dirty work.

    I think its silicone insulation, the stock motor has plastic insulation i fink.

    I would prefer to sell a working dual cell mod rather than risk damaging somebody else’s chassis.
    the other option is 27Mhz.

    If somebody can find me a supplier of BCG’s for a reasonable price, please tell me because I want to keep prices to a minimum.

    The speed these cars travel at is enough to scrape and damage the shell, a dead common compact shell doesnt matter if it gets stuffed, but a nice bcg shell from japan…………..your choice.

    $75 per set. It is harder to get BCG, wheras compacts are readily available-and cheaper.

    Yeah one day I raced my mini z on the tarmac in the searing heat, the motor got so hot it wasnt funny, seems to be lacking performance a bit.
