Hopefully I can make it too.
It’s about time I turned up to one of these meets. What sorta time will everyone be there?
Looks good!
Just don’t let that baby wander off the track…

Here’s the hitech camera mount:

I was driving the iwaver – and was apparently the cause of the incident. 😀
Blu-tack on the car (mounted on the back). Sticky tape for the plane.
I think the iwaver flipped the MR-02 and smashed into the gears from underneath.
All I saw at the time was my camera go smashing into the ground 😀
.. it’s hardly worth converting to mpg.
I’ll put up a divx copy when I get home tmrw. It’s wmv cause my usb camera converts its files to asf – which are a bitch to edit in anything other than the XP movie maker.
I got some good onboard plane crash video today – suprised the camera made it out alive..my plane is in bits

Can’t be bothered with mpg…can Macs play divx/xvid?
Yeah I bought one. Mine’s been on the plane too.. very fun. And pretty tough, I’ve had a few nasty crashes while it was taped to my mini-z.
I seem to wearing out 9t pinions a lot… so alloy would be good. Do the alloy pinions damage the spur gear at all?
My MR-02 has been sent inside for misbehaving in the carpark. Could I safely put a bigger pinion in my iwaver? It seems to have plenty of grunt with a 9t (5 cell/xpeed).
What plane is that?
I’ve tried a few of the cheap TE planes and they haven’t really been worth the effort, but that one looks pretty cool.
You might also want to check out the Parkzone Slo-V.

Model Flight will be selling the Slo-V soon for A$249.
They’re not difficult to fly. But if they get out of control it can be pretty scary. That clip is the 1 good minute btw 😀
Kevsta – it’s the top of a carpark in Richmond (Vic). It used to be really smooth when it was new, but it’s starting to get a bit trashed up there now (oil/glass etc). The cars get filthy.
It’s an Aerobird Xtreme, with the camera mounted on the boom behind the prop.
No range/interference probs – but only 5 mins recording time.
Somewhere north of Fitzroy – just off St.Georges Rd.
Sunrich eDVR.

It works as a video cam (records about 5 mins), still cam, audio recorder, webcam and a usb flash memory thing (128mb). Was about AUD$165 delivered from http://www.auspcmarket.com.au.
Review at Dan’s Data.
It’s going on my rc plane as soon as the weather sorts itself out.
Some models and scenery here:
I discovered FMS just a few days ago.. only using keyboard for control – but it’s lots of fun.
There’s some pretty cool add on models floating around. I got a witch on a broomstick 🙂
Not “wireless”… but records video straight to flash mem.
Obviously no good for ‘live’ monitoring.Got no idea if they’re any good. The sample video I’ve seen looks ok though. I’m VERY tempted to get one to chuck on my plane.
What about OL pinions?
😯 I worked it out once I removed the diff.
ThanksI’m about to take out the AWD. So where does that spare part go when I put the 2WD back in?
