lobster, the afx springs are available in pairs from most toyworld stores for cheap, i suggestbuying about 6-10 at a time cos they are easy to bugger the length up when trying to get them even and drop on the ground( which them the underpants gnomes instantly claim for profit).

anywhere that stocks afx tracks should sell em in there spare parts kit.

    two other tips for springs…
once you get some take them to a locksmith and ask if he has any spare springs of similar diameter. i managed to get some which fit tightly to the plastic at one end when trimmed, perfect if you swap the front rims on your sbcg as they dont fall off.

and with trimmed afx springs, make sure the trimmed end is facing downward to the ground and slightly wound around the knuckle. the opposite end of the spring will then make even contact with the steering plate.

    good luck!!!

“borad casue” means board cause… in case you where confused.

l.o.l :have you ever used a booster 2 speed bit? they are pretty cool at first, but with no internal mods are pretty anoying i.m.o.

the “tapping” method of creating your own half speed is far more challenging to master, and so more rewarding.

sounds like we should be watching the sweedish version! our stuff is way to tame to warant watching it all the time. allthough uplate has been good enough to replay the decent bits of uncensored for us……

i want sweedish big brother lezzies.

maybe we should get all the blokes voted off, and then send the remaning girls some rubber gifts via emergency airdrop….

thought youd all like it! its practically digital bcg. i love the pit crews….

Racer9 :right mouse click and drag the objects that need rotation. that one took me a while to get too…

the water level can be edited in the track properties. adjust map h and smooth are the tools for creating terain features.

anyone ever had a look at the mad-max like vehicles in pig hunting magazines before?

i’m not to sure how serious other countries are into this redneck passtime as us aussies. go use a newsagent as a library for ten minutes and check one of those mags out.

i reckon an all aussie bush basher would be a nice theme for a comp.

that track comp would be cool as well.

did you check the distance with each small adjustment? sounds like you went a little too far with the reciver (i think its called a pot, short for potentometer). that thing is very sensitive so have another go but be very subtle, and once you get reception walk away one step at a time, if you loose it by distance or adjustment you gotta be more carefull.

are you trying to use it with other cars? near sources of metal?

there are many things that can interfere with small radio equipment so try a different spot in your house.

you can increase the range (none of my 3 are that bad) by lifting the pcb and cover and get the cars antenna to stick out more. a lot of its length is wasted inside the chassis and in the pcb cover clip.

    are your batteries new?

true evo, i run a supposed “king perfection 4.2”
in my monster super bit and i get at least 5 meters out of it.

it goes really well. and does decent jumps and it hasn’t had any electrical mods done to it at all.

after using a sbcg controller for a while the bcg controller feels so crappy.
its like a playstation controller Vs. an atari 2600 joystick!

charg-man, are you in a city or town or out in the countryside?

i live 2km out of my town, where there is no mobile phone signal and the only time i get any problems with any of my cars is when someones useing my cordless housephone.

when the power is low, and when u drive too far it does keep going. which does get annoying sometimes. one out of three of my sbcg’s has NONE of these problems, it is a 27a.

and as far as racing goes, out of the box an sbcg will beat the standard everytime.
