i got a set of the blue ones modded to fit a bit.
and 1 red and green idler gear but no axles…

i wonder if the sbcg upgrade gearsets are the same as the standard bcg ones…. i’ll have a count and post the results…

i just worked out my pink thunder charger clone gears, they are 6.57:1

they are my favorite gears for a standard bit.

moving sucks big time, before we could move into this place the previous owners hadnt been able to move into their new place and all our gear was in boxes in their loungeroom for months. i was staying with one of my gf’s relos in brisbane for three months before i got to unpack all my goods…which sucked big time.

this is why i got into bits, they were small enough to take with me and the tools were small too… they helped me keep my sanity…

i had to embarass a freind on a weekly basis at the pub, he didnt use B.O blocker and stunk like a skunk. he used to wonder why women would run away all the time from him. as soon as hed arive id tell him to go home and wash.

bloody hell! sure, me and my mates sink a few extra dry cases a month, but the best beer to sample is coopers. red labeled sparkling ale. or the vintage ale (7.5 %!) expensive but extremely nice, if you got this you dont need to have cheap vodka mixed into your beer.:dead: thats south australia covered.

tasmania beers: boags honey porter. a rarity but it is one of the nicest beverages my toungues ever sampled, similar to the american waggledance beer but darker and maltier.

the best from new south wales is the malt shovel brewery A.K.A james squires, they do a nice pilsner that has an almost lychee juice flavor (awesome with asian food and fish). they also have a porter that shits all over guiness (cos it tastes as good and has good bubbles). but their (above) standard beer is the amber ale. quality in every sense, but never trust it out of a tap. Allways grab a bottle or two to get the most of a squire.

avoid at all costs queenslands four x, (XXXX).
it is absolute camels piss.

and if your are in melbourne you are very lucky. carton black is my favorite off tap. but if you go into st. kilda on the main street on the opposite end to luna park their is the best beer shop in australia. they import over 200 types of choice beers from allover the world. if you do go there, have a rasberry or cherry belgian bottle and tell me what you think. it aint cheep ($7.50) but the quality and flavour are so unique and amazing….

anyway enough of my beer addiction. go and get some good stuff and enjoy!!:smiley2:

i’ve done a lot of traveling around oz, and not once killed or caught a croc.shot and eaten a few kangaroos tho…

thanx averyone!.this is the third ute i have made, and the Bb is one of the easyest to do it too.
the shell was raised, cut down and tray added. back window was made from a soda bottle and the spotlights came from a $2 bi-lo monster truck, the rollbar/light support was made from balsawood with a citadel putty shell.

the chassis was borrowed from my enzo for the shot, and the rear tyres are pull back fronts(they are wide enough to give better stick without needing a rimswap).

the seat is nice but i have to be honest about the “rollbar”. its bodgy, and i really think you could do better. have a go looking up hobby shops in the phone book and find one that stocks HO railway supplies. there is these aluminium pipes they should have in varying widths that are perfect for rollbars, roofracks, bumbers and tailpipes.

i like your rims too, and i do give you cred for finding useable materials at home. if you dont have any luck finding the pipes i could send you a few peices for free, as they are real cheap.

these evil creatures gobble up all native juvinile aquatic lifeforms. that cool looking green tree frog would have been dead years ago if it wasnt for the occasional culling.

when a national governmenty starts biowarfare for whatever reason it devastating effects. our lacal eucalyptis trees are an incredible pest in america, just like conifers (pine trees) are toxic to our native plants.
