9$ at my local walmart- WhiteMarsh, MD

the tires are compatible, as are motors, but pinion, axle, and main gear are not without moving the pin the main gear spins on…

definitely good for spare battery if you need them.

How long is the antenna off the car? it looks massive…

With the booster controller I get only a little under standard range on a normal bit but 2ft tops on bot my boosters. This leads me to believe the problem exists in both the booster and controller, but mainly in the booster…

does it do this with a low charge as well? If your tires are dirtythey won’t grip, causing your car to turn

Damn the one Wal-Mart near me! They didn’t have them! All they had where these freaking awsome graphite pool cues for $19. I got myself 2 for my mini (i think 7 foot) pool table. They are so damn smooth. Just like the $80 ones at the Sports Authority. Well, I’ll have to try the other Wal-Mart near by, even though I’m out of money… Payday is Friday!

Any of the older pony cars would be good (Stangs, Chargers, Superbees, you know what I’m talkin’ about).

Can’t go wrong with the Porsche line, 911 or 944.

Some more Hondas would be cool, CRX Si, Civic Hatchback, Prelude.

Might as well go with the Eclipse’s and/or their clones (Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser).

which batteries are getting hot? the AA Duracells? Or the rechargable one on your bit? I have a 4 AA battery charger like the one in the pic and none of my Bits have suffered – or had warm batteries. I have 1, 2 and 3 cell bits. I had a couple of hot batteries cos the earth wire on the PCB was loose and that made my 2 celled bit’s batteries really HOT! In fact, I ruined the nicads and had to replace both of them.

Looks like too much current to the battery. Reduce the number of batteries to just two. If you install the two battery mod. then your 4 battery charger would work. Anyone correct me if I’m wrong.

Yeah the Supra I just got had the exact same issue- looks like the newer Tomys are short on insulation on the steering wires.. some of my older cars are insulated on all 4 wires, but this was only on 2, and the 2 uninsulated ones were causing issues by touching anything in the way, and preventing a strong left turn.
