How much is this thing? I might want to buy one just for the tires and the 3:1 or whatever gear ratio.
I replaced this greencap with the ceramic 104 capacitor and the range of a 27Mhz Evo degraded to about 30cm

The custom Bit modifeds how-to page
The original OEM 3.8 (pink) motors available at http://www.questformadness.com for $11 in the online store as well.
ok, cool! how much roughly?
the motors in kit racers by hot wheels
are either 2.2 or 2.6 micro b motors
well at least the ones i’ve seen
hot wheels licenses the product from tomy
so it’s really just bit racer in diff box.
tyres are the same size front and back
motor i got worked good too.
thou the gears is mighty fast
but can be used with minor mod.
the battery is the same if want to do dual battery mod.
Yes!! lol i live 10 mins away from the convention center in Chi-town, ill bring my funny car bit to show off (btw it turned out perfect! hehehe) and ill bring my 2.6 mirage celica to race, anyonegonna be there n willing to race?
ditto!! 🙁
There’s no photo of the track?
The Mini-Z is actually faster stock. The Micro is available in RTR or Kit form. For more info and comparisons, check out http://mini-zracer.com and http://yourmicro.com :smiley2:
FYI: We are up and running again! YAY! (On temporary webspace though, until our ISP resolves our hosting issues!) Thank you to AUSMicro for letting us use the forum to keep you all in the loop during this whole ordeal.
give this guy an email. he has a shop in Adelaide and can ship anywhere. his shop homepage is http://www.shintokyo.com.au i dont think he has the initialD dvds listed on the page yet. but i know he has Stage1 3 disc set and another (extra stage). they all have english subtitles. i got Battle Stage DVD the other day from him. i am very happy with it.
I wouldn’t actually say its fair to compare the miniz and hpi micro rs4 because miniz is 1:24 and the micro rs4 is 1:18 and is 4wd but the miniz is2wd plus the mini z comes ready to run except for batteries but the hpi micro rs4 is not ready to run it is more like a real 1:10th scale car you have to buy all of the electronics seperate and you have to paint the body. But I think you can buy the hpi micro rs4 ready to run i don’t know. Also the hpi is faster but that is because it can take more cells than the mini z and faster motor. Also you can use the hpi micro on your 1:10th scale tracks but the mini-z is best on carpet.
lol @ the basement being your track .. thatd be great !!
Dont suppose you got any pics from the stairs or anything ?? would be great to see
Hey infinite
I get what kinda antenna your using for your controller, but youv also cahnged the antenna in your car right ?? Can you tell us a little more about that ?? Greatly appreciated, its a great mod, well done 🙂
I would suggest posting this thread to the Buy Swap and Sell section. Also I would suggest that you read the policy there! Just to be clear on it – if they’re just some extras you’re selling no problem but if you’re selling bulk amounts then you really shouldn’t be posting about them here at all.
I’ve noticed that with a little bit of lubrication, the gears tend to be quieter. I use a splash of WD40, and it seems to make things run a bit smoother.
I don’t know which car you have, but I’ve noticed that 57mhz cars do not perform very well here in the states. They seem to have less range than any of the other 4 frequencies.
Just my 2 cents…..

sounds like a short somewhere…try insulating the wires where you joined them for a start.

“With Geocities you cant upload a hol page”
You get what you pay for my friend.
The other thing you can try, if you’re on Cable-Modem or DSL, you can see if your ISP offers a certain amount of free webspace.
Are you talking about the Bit Racer or some American thing?
i know where you can get a 3.8 for $14 dollars.Contact kyleclemmons@msn.com for more info. he sells them. Tell him youra member of Ausmicro’s forums.
That’s the whole point of the booster. It’s a 2-speed bit. switch the ABC selector to B to enable the boost function. Then the car goes slow until you press the button.
If the monster trucks don’t use a third channel of controlling the front arm accessory it may work by a piston – front axle goes round – moves arm up and down…
Just a thought..
