1 channel is for the motor(forward + reverse) and the other for steering(left+right). You’ll need different frequencies to operate independantly. if u dont want a new car, try a different color version, they usually have diffent frequencies.Like the yellow s2000 is a different freq. than the silver. Or if u know how to soldier, find a car with a different frequency, and switch out the receiving units

DUH! I just had an idea. Maybe you don’t need to worry about the sticker colors at all. Just look up all the 57MHz cars:

    • Silver S2000
    • Red RX-7
    • White Impreza
    • Yellow Toyota Bb
    • Xanavi Skyline
    • Mario
    • [/list]

Do the cars you have follow the same frequency/car relationship? Meaning is a white Accord wagon always 35 MHz? If so, just get one of the cars listed above and it should be 57 MHz.

I usually swap motors and tire/stab/gear sets around so there’s not much point in posting that.

I’ve tried the sets qfm recommends- It’s a nice idea, but I had horrible traction with the wheels, and with no variable throttle, the control was horrid.

nivrt- yeah that’s the same conclusion I came to als, I’ll try grinding this off with a file onceI get a chance to go to my local hardware store and hobby shops- I need some paint for my RX-7 FC3S anyway.

    1.0 blue

    1.6 unknown

    2.2 lime

    2.6 orange

    3.0 red

yeah… don’t bother dumping money on a 3.0, the 2.2 is plenty fast for normal racing in my opinion- still waiting for my 2.6s to arrive so i can try them. The 1.6 is coming ont sometime this fall also, and there’ve been some romors of a 3.2/3.6 motor, but considering the problems with the 3.0’s torque and contacts I doubt it’ll happen any time soon.

In the cases of both the 3.0 and the 3.8, the motor even with no gears sometimes hits a dead spot. Also, a 2.4v mod isn’t really a fix, the 2.4v is probably greating a magnetic field in the motor strong enough to pull it out of the null ponts which single cell operation could not, and since I intended to use the motors for single-cell racing, not drag there’s not much option other than finding some 2.6.

Regarding the 3.0 being a Bit Racer only part- that it is- BUT unlike all the other bit racer motors (2.2 and 2.6), it comes with a black Bit Char-G pinion AND the standard Bit Racer White pinion. It seems it was designed for use with Bit Char-G, but not on an “official” level.

Hey- with the name “Lucifer Motor”, you just KNOW something’s amiss.

the honda S2000 and the mazda RX-7 FD3S are both 57mhz.

thus they are both on the same frequency. “2 channel” refers to the control channels, not the radio frequencies. If you look at the boxes you’ll note a “57” on the right column. Find a different number and you can race that with your current cars.

yea they are both 27mhz, but the box said that the remotes had 2 channel transmitters.

That’s not me. It’s b_drift (I haven’t seen him around in a while). Sorry, I thought there was a review at the end of it. Anyway, it doesn’t make the car any faster and there is a lot of control lag (as with any of the IR cars).

    Hiyas!

I?ve bought severall OEMs and in my opinion the bullets are the best . Espacially for the price (9.90$). The Huale OEMs are absolutely crap!!! I took out the NiCd and the sterring spring and throw the rest away. The bullet is o.k., ucan use all parts of the tomy except the Gear Set GS-03. Because the distance of the engine to the rear axle is different to tomy.

And the Bullets are containing a NiMh:smiley2:

If you remove the silly decals and change the antenna you?ll have a good car , not as good as a Bit , but nearly the same.

try charging it for a bit longer, using a power source that is 3v or higher.

the regular charger is set up to do 1.2v -your “new” 2.4v dual battery car needs more than the controller charger is supplying.

The three pack of axles? you mean the gear set? How much is the right price to have them shipped to you in the USA? ie what is too expensive when shipping is included?

Geez been forever since I have been on. Just put together my track finally and starting to finish my soccer field. The chassis was cut and the remolded with either plactic cement or crazy glue and reinforced with a lil skinny plate. By the way people http://www.bitchar-gmotors.com
