i compleated the turbo mod on the week end and my car went a bit better im trying the 4x5vrelay setup but after my last message about the battery+charger problem i have discovered that its not the batterys or charger but my car well i thought it was the motor i re wound it to 45turn and it use to go insainly fast with little load but now even with no load it just spins at about 200 rpm im guessing and gets verry hot so i took out my relays and motor and put the stock motor back in. this was fine untill i lost reverse about 5 mins later then the turbo started to pulse on and off when i tried to use it
so i took all the transistors out of the circut board

Hey guys, David here from Usa, the zip zaps SE is have major steering problems, you may want to wait awhile and see if RS is going to do anything about the problem. I bought the first one in town, took it home, and the steering is good to the right but stutters to the left then jumps to full turn. I took it back for exchange but all four cars they had did the same thing. Micro RC cars forum has about 15 posts of the same thing happening. just thought you guys needed to know.

how’de just got my auldey race win car lat weekend (200sx) and bought my misses a supra the sx has already had a respray (Yellow) and modified motor (from 100 down to 45 Turns)
also the 2 batterys (deepest into the bat box are the turbo batterys. so if you want a faster turbo connect more batters in series to these. the relay mod willnot do much inless you have a verry low turn motor which draws more current to turn and cannot draw it throgh the circuit board
theres a site (&shop) in adelaide http://www.rczone.com.au which i think has all the upgades (tyres, motors parts etc.
the relays only stop the resistance of the circuit board by taking power straight from the batterys it wont let that much more volts through though but alot more amps will be able to be drawn

9volt batterys dont have the micro amps needed to drive the motor thats why they dont last long i have a supra aswell and have modified it extensivly it runs 2 stock AA batterys and 2 AAA batterys between the front and rear wheels on both sides this lowers the vehicles center of gravity so it handles better as for your steering you widden the front wheel base with and it should handel ok i dont think they go quite 90kph but they go FN quick for a 10cm car

i think there a bit bigger like mid 200 the relays only stop the resistance of the circuit board by taking power straight from the batterys it wont let that much more volts through though but alot more amps will be able to be drawn

Don’t use nail polish remover on plastic, it will melt. Oven cleaner works well as does Castrol Super Clean. Both will remove paint without melting the plastic. You can use enamel thinner if you are quick, but you still risk melting the plastic. I’ve heard PineSol works well, but I’ve never tried it myself.

thats right and might i say a very addictive anime series, its worth taking a look at. the racing is pretty cool and so is the trueno which happens to beat every car it races, even an r32 gtr. its fun to watch if your into jap cars and street racing, none of that dragging stuff but heaps of cool drift scenes which i think takes more skill then just speeding down a strait.

i tried the nail varnish but it didn’t work too well it stained my shell. i tried terps after, that was better but it still left some paint in cracks and hard to reach areas. the worst part was that it fogged up my windows, can i use any thing that wont harm my shell in any way? more importantly not fog the windows.
