Davef, i don’t have the specs on the springs yet. I just went to the locksmith and showed him what i wanted and where they went. He laughed and found the springs for me. Didn’t take long. But I should have some more specs soon. My father is sending an assortment of springs to me and I will see which work the best and can then pass the information on. My father said you could pick up bags of the springs for $4 or 5 for 100.

AdamC: as for the batteries i would be in for it, but we run into a slight problem of the companies are in the US and as i see a lot of the people are in AUS. But if you could get a even 10 people to buy them that reduces your cost to about 20 a person… not bad. So you would have 40 batteries… LOL but if you are like me you have several cars and there is always a friend or two that would buy them off of you.

IF anyone in the US is interested let me know we can start getting a list

AdamC go to http://www.batteryworld.com.au and phone the number to find your nearest dealer, i got 2 decent batterys for around $10 including shipping, they make a lot of differance!

how did you get the Nanoracer motor in your Char-G ? I found it to be too long.

    Genspec,

It takes a bit of forcing, but if you dont force to hard you dont do any damage to the chassi, is the endo of the motor pink? mine was and it goes sweet! dont be afraid to force to much cause they are pretty strong, and my gears matched up perfectly, dont shave the chassi back to fit it in cause then you will have trouble fitting the tomy motors in!

I think you’ll find the “safari styled 4WD of some type” is a Toyota Bb.

the back of the motor currently in the car is a light blue, I picked up a second motor before i knew anything about the cars the back end of it is orange but it has a larger gear and I have been unable to even put it in the car and test its speed.

As for what car? Not sure,it looks like the bullet st, but my dome had creasesat the top in it instead ofbeing smooth. as for the body, I don’t have it here at work and i can’t remember. Like a honda civic or something.

    i hear that Cranga!!
Panda’s ideas are probably best as with a 2.2 motor-the stock Compact one or you can use a 2,6 motor and just medium tires up back anbd hrads up frotn and you should be able to drift it if you get the angle right
