Its impossible to get all those light mods in one car as they are, unless you modify them somehow to run off one cicuit board and battery (I’m assuming that Caine is referring to Mikes Mods when he talks about the light mods). Otherwise, its a no go. Theres only so much space inside the Bit and the Ultimate Light Mod takes up most of that.

Nooooo! Steer well away from the Bit Motorcycles! How were they packaged? Were they in some sort of oval shaped dome? Did they look like this:

If so, do not buy them! They really are crap. I’ve got two of them, bought them from ToyEast long time ago. They are impossible to control in that they just fall over too often. Theres nothing customisable about them and the controller sucks.

You say ‘bad makes of trucks’ – what trucks are youtalking about? I’ve not seen any trucks :smiley5:

These pictures were once on the Tomy Japan website. That top one is ‘Tomica Town’.

Yeah, wasn’t that exactly what I said!? Lol :smiley4:

i got my other junk from ebay, i guess the radio shack zip zaps would be cool sincei could run down the street and get some. Hated waiting for the boxes to get here through the mail. Anyway, i guess i’ll have to just get a zip zap set too if i’m gonna have a fast and furious setup.

I fixed the sticking problem by tearing apart the front end, and now the only problem is that going one way it turns in about a 6 inch circle and the other way it takes a foot or more. There is no binding anywhere, could there be anything else?

The scale of Mini-Z varies by shell – from 1:24 to 1:28

Just out of curiosity, what are the 1:64 scale cars with 4WD? How are the front wheels driven – belt or shaft?

    Thanks

    Derek

I’ve found that with hard tyres on the back and the 2.6 on board, my Booster Skyline 2000GT-R will break traction, occasionally drifting, but mostly donutting 😀

Thanks, Chris. I was having a bit of trouble deciding which were the best to get when I was looking at toyeast.com.

There was a guy at a local shopping centre a few weeks ago and from memory I’d say he was selling the Bullets (or the Luyu ones if they’re different). I almost bought one on a whim and decided against it. Now after reading a few web sites and forums I’ve decided I definitely want one of these little monsters.

If anyone in Australia reads this, do you know of the costs to get stuff delivered from toyeast.com (to Victoria)? I’m looking at getting the cheap knockoffs as I don’t want to spend a few hundred bucks on these and then get bored of them (as I so often do)! Then, if I really get into it I can start spending more $ on the better quality product.

After reading a few of the forums and seeing the ausmicro.com guys are probably going to open up an online shop (just under a different site name to ausmicro.com) I may buy from them if I haven’t heard an answer from toyeast.com in a reasonable amount of time…

We’ll see. I might have a look at the LXX ones too thenif they’re roughly the same price.

One last Q, I’ve had a go with the larger Audley (?) RC cars that are 3-4 inches long, how do the Bits compare to them in handling/power/etc?

How do your boosters pop up a wheelie?? Which motors/batts do you use and when do you press a boost button?

    Is it completely stock?
