you gotta inspect the grips before you get them, take a bcg tyre down next time for comparison. try to get the grips with the lowest profile.:8ball:

i’ve tried a perfection 4.2, and they’re just hype. i’ve got a tomy 2.2 that’s better! i think perfection motors are hit and miss, poor quality control:8ball:

stretching is fine, keeps the tyre on better.
i went down to the newsagent and took some pics of the pen grip container.

this is the template i used originally. it measures 29 x 17mm. but i’ve redesigned the new ones. they are a 2 piece design, rigid plastic to the rear and a more flexible and durable plastic on the chassis which acts as a hinge. there’s a pic here

snug on front and a little stretch on the rear.and a huge stretch on my monster wheels! but you want it to stretch a bit so they grip the wheel. they don’t have the groove in them like proper tyres. i’ve found that they interfere with the steering a little when on the front, doesn’t hold a straight line as well. and you have to seat them correctly, ie make sure the thickness is uniform the whole way around.:8ball:

to the best of my knowledge, mah means mili amp hours (spelling?). this kinda means how long it’ll give you a certain amount of power. that means how long it runs for before going flat. not sure about power output, but i have a couple of dual celled, 200mah nimh bits, and they run for 10 – 15 mins on a full charge, and seem to be delivering plenty of power:8ball:
