I have a box (emptied) of the Dick Smith matches taped to my monitor, with cut out pictures of clients who are more stupid than dirt.

Midnight club track – sounds good.

The clear section of track was a good idea, but they always have the worst videos. The short ones would be cool if they were longer, and the long ones are always boring. the only exception is on the downhill track where they taped a good run. i want to do a downhill track – it’s looks excellent.

Bonzer is very Australian. Anyone other than an Aussie wouldn’t get it.

There’s a Aussie product like wd40 for getting engines to turn over on cold days. It’s called “Start ya bastard”. Cracked me up.

    1. You can safely leave the car on the charger. It stops charging after 45 seconds. You only receive 45 seconds of charge.

    2. Online you can buy parts from ToyEast, or HLJ. They ship world wide I think.

    3. I think the springs used for slot car racing can be used for BCGs. They need to be non-magnetic, or it interferes with the steering.

    4. Yup. MiniZ and Bits (BCGs) are different scale.

    5. MDF is like craftwood. It’s cheaper than plywood, and probably not as strong. It’s like chipwood, but with a higher quality smoother surface.

    6. You’re better off buying some masking tape, and cutting it to suit with an exacto knife or scalpel. (before putting it on the car if you’re not confident with the knife.

    7. Good luck with the members galley. I’m sure you’ll work it out.

I’m tempted to buy the booster cars in the other frequencies. I have 2 at the moment, and only ever want to race with them.

We’re all still struggling to get together for a race amongst members. Interstate titles could be fun if it ever gets enoug momentum.

The wife has given me the credit card today – new shells, here I come.

I’ll wait for the super BCG sets in October to buy new cars.

I’ve got about 8 people who would be interrested in a race event. Most own their own BCG cars.

There’s need to mostly be 1.0 motor races, then an open mod section I suppose to let you tripple kryptonite battery, multi FET mod, titanium suspension, 24 carot gold heat sinc, types show off your beast. Not sure how well it’ll go round the track. Better add a bumper car mod while you’re at it.

I thought we had more Tasmanians on this list.

How many friends do each of us Tasmanians have that own the cars, but aren’t on this forum, or haven’t spoken up yet? Get them on the forum, and get them to reply in this discussion.

Use that Mystic Madness paint that changes to every colour depending on the light source and angle.

I saw a car on the back of a trailor being pulled by some new 4×4 done out in that paint in Hobart a few months ago. It had some race sponsor decals on it, so I assume they had it in a competition here somewhere. I’m told the paint job costs aroung 40 grand??? Man, that’s crazy. Looked amazing though.

Depends on the site you’re trying to get the image from. Some sites have code so that if you try to steal one of their images, all you see if their site logo or advert instead. I think WebShots is like that.

I’ll orgainse times, dates, etc once I know what sort of interrest there will be. Once I have a list of interrested parties, hen I’ll ask around for best suited times/dates so we get the largest available field of racers.

The Targa time trial thing sounds good. We could throw in a few race Stages for good measure. Either way we’re pretty well limited to 4 cars on the go per round.

Same place you get the motors from, you can get the whole cars, and other accessories from.
