Kev; the original idea I had was to use that exact same material, but I thought it’d be way too expensive. As it is now, i’ve just got to hope there is enough available. As for track surface, I was always happy to use the netball court surface as we did yesterday, but other options are always good to bounce around. (Though I do tend to agree; the carpet/matting may be more expensive than some would prefer to pay…

Put all the s/s ball joints in last night, taks about 15 minutes. the cleanig of the inside of the Monster’s steering servo is a different story… that took just under an hour between me and Geo (thanks again,matey!!),the main reason being that it’s pretty hard to hold everything together to put the servo case back on. A learning experience all the same, now maybe I wont be so reluctant to do my racers servos when necessary… As for the ‘ooga booga’ thing, I dunno… in a weird frame of mind. What do I owe you for the Bit racer tyres dude?

like I said it came with bugger all… had to make do with what I was sold, but have ordered pinions. More powerfum motor and another battery pack (this one probably 6 cell) some time down the track. Yeah, if you’re interested we’ll keep this going elsewhere…
ever run a CAD program OTP? What you speak of is not impossible (unless you’ve never done it before…) but the ground work needed to pump em out is huge. Lets just say I understand why these aluminium parts are so expensive…

Tim; first and foremost you are never there, you’ve never seen my GTR run, where do you get off trying to tell people i’ve got a stock motor? Everyone knows different, so you’re only making yourself look like an utter **** ******* ****!!!, which we now know to be true. i’m running a 7 cell pack with the 8t (sorry, mentioned that b4!), so it’s got heaps of pickup. Cant wait till these pinions show up, going straight to the 13 tooth…

did’nt work for me… what’s I miss Pete? Was it a Z? leonli17; off topic a bit, but what setup you got on your RS4? I’m only running the stock motor w/ 8tooth pinion (the only pinion I got in the set, but have ordered the full set in s/s) and only have soft tires, so every run i’m pretty much shredding them down the centre at the rear due to the accel. off the mark. May dial down the pot. on the speedy to deal with that

lol; you mentioned the SBCG GTR set, curious, is it the yellow GTR, or has someone foun the SBCG history set already? (Its the same as the Ferrari/ Lambo triple pack; three shells (in this case black), black controller, chassis (not sure of gearing or wheel colour.)) If it is this new black set, where and how much?!
Damn… maybe i’ll pass on the Trueno then… if I could actually succeed in keeping a shell for show then I think i’d get it… yeah, there as low as $70 usd plus postage at the mo
