GT-ahh got to love a runaway car:) 50 m should be good enough:D and 100 m is just insane:shock:. Jamie do you any delay in signal at that range? or is performance still responsive?

I think I will post a mod sometime this week and try this idea out. One other way to do it? would be maybe to have the numbers 1-5 avail. to the poster under the message icon. The problem with this is that you are leaving up to the poster to decide the difficulty of the mod, and not all of our skills are the same. A mod that ph2t or u would consider a 2 maybe a 4 or 5 for someone else? However ppl voting on the difficulty may alter the number as well as members may vote without trying the mod first:( just base it on how tough it looks?

I may be over thinking this one but it could really be a good tool for ppl when judging which mods to try. Aaron et al. let me know what you guys think?

I think that perriscope may be onto something with the motor. Have you checked how the gears are meshing with the pinon? This is a bit of a leap but take off the back axel and second gear and see if the motor turns by itself on and off of the charger?

shibby07, if the car didn’t work straight out of the package, then (if you can) return it for a new one.

If you swapped the bat yourself, Nihm’s usually come in 2 sizes 1/3 and 1/4 AAA’s the 1/4’s sometimes fit loose and you have to play with the connection or add metal (like a small washer) to make them fit. It also depends on what car we are talking about, bit or non-bit?

The list goes on and on, more details pls:)

The car you are looking at is actually a Mazda. Someone posted the make a while back on the forum. Only remember it was a Mazda thou:blush: It has a custom white controller as well. Too bad it is 27 Mhz:angry:

Hey Trackmaster, is this a bit or a clone? I wonder if the car bat. could have been put in backwards? If what micro is saying is true this could be the case??? If not swap the bat.

The other possibility is that there is a loose connection in one of the wires running to your circut board and it is only in place when it is snaped onto the charger?
