Actually the silver on bb I painted and posted in the galleries seemed to thin just a bit on the hood when I added gloss finish to it. I used Testors Aluminium 1181, enamel, and enamel gloss on top…sorry Panda, guess I didn’t use enamel on acrylic after all:blush:. Thanks for the info ph2t.
Good work u. Pls post pics in your members gallery:)
Ph2t, nice work. Remember Panda’s comments in your paints ‘n stuff post?
Quote:rule with acrylic… do NOT paint Enamels
on top of it!! (you can paint acrylic on
top of enamels, just not enamel on acrylic.)
Your top layer will curdle, the bottom will bubble. This may have been what happened??

M_Coupe, great idea linking the pics in your gallery to your sig. Hope you don’t mind if I follow suit?
Double zz’s gone, thanks all:)
Nice as always ph2t:) Nice work on the vid as well. How did you cut and paste a spreadsheet in your post??
Just updated a few pics in my gallery if anyone wants to take a look:)
M_Coupe, your 7-up car is nice… Did you paint on the 7-up logo etc.. or are those decals??
Just picked up my toyeast shipment. Everything there safe and sound:) They even thru in a second set of stickers:shock:. Will post pics of some of the new stuff I got in the members galleries tommorow. All in all very pleased with the time it took to arrive and the way they packed the shipment.
Nice work M. Would like to see pics of the 7up Celica, make sure you let us know when it is in the galleries.
Nice to see more and more pics up in the galleries, as well as more members posting pics. I think that having a section to comment on the pics there is a great idea barto, infact it would be an easy way for Ausmicro to hold a comp:). This way all pics are onsite, with the ausmicro stamp on them and it would be a way to get more members to sign up for this feature and for ausmicro to get exposure… Now what kind of comp could they have???:)
Hey domi8a. Glad to see you on the forums:)
Aaron, I know you prbly have all this sorted out but have you thought about having a time attack challenge on one of the tracks that you will have set up? Say fastest 5 laps, with a bit or mini that you provide (ie your set-up). That way we can see who the most skilled operator/driver in Aus is:). I would suggest using a stock bit with an antenna range mod, that way nbdy will/can blame the way you set up the car if all dosen’t go well for them:(. Maybe even give them 3 warm-up laps as well, so they can get used to the car/track?? Just a thought, but I would love to see who the best of the best is:) I think you should post pics of all the cat. winners as well.

Welcome back z-beam:)
lol, Barto, don’t worry too much about it. Spam is spam, all of us are guilty of it to some degree…me definately not excluded:( In a way I agree with ms char-ged, but banter is what keeps this site going from day to day. Plus it would be nice to see Shypo sweat a little:smiley2:.

Thanks Aaron, thought so, but was not sure. Now I just have to get back to working on that second question, lol.
Thanks for the link barto 85.
No not yet, blew some cash on toyeast.com. Will have to wait till next month:(
I like the flames as well, but I think I am most partial to the last one as it shows skill to blend the colors like that:) How did you get it so even CaboWabo?
Thanks Admin/Aaron. One more Q? If a pic is linked to the general forum from the member gallery in a post, then it is replaced in that members gallery, what will happen to the link/picture in the forum?
(And if a one train is travelling at 500 kph in a eastern direction and passes a second train traveling at 300 kph in a western direction. What is the speed of the second train in reference to a passenger standing….:)
Hope that makes sense…? The first question that is.
Happy B-day Ph2t. Relax and have a cold one:) Soda that is;)
Plaster mold? Then cut it to shape for the length? I guess Vacuum would work as well. How wide are they?
Mine arrived in Canada friday (very fast). Although I will not have my hands on the package till next week. Can’t wait. Will post pics of what I got when I get some of the pieces together:)
