    Chinese Japanese Picanese
The only diff is the molding of the chassis that says made in where ever the fuck its made, The pcb is the same and like you have already quoted, The original ones came with a KT2, Chinese with KT5, It mean nothing to me

    Stop your bitching

nope, before you came to this forum there were issues with chinese Z’s, they had a lower standard soldering job than the jap Z’s and various other things….

Uh…well…. SmarTech doesn’t have the best reputation.

Build quality alone does not make a good car, if something looks clean and shiny…well, that means nothing.

Don’t spend too much money on it, just keep it in good order (replace worn parts) and dont go overboard with hopups.

If you want a tuned pipe for it (is it sidewinder engine?), go the Duratrax Maximum Tuned Pipe set available from tower hobbies for approx $20 US, its fantastic value, and give your engine a good 30-40% power increase, and of course the whoosh from about half throttle to full revs, much like a turbocharged vehicle.

Other than that give it a nice pair of boots, such as ProLine BowTies, they really make a fantastic difference over kit tyres.

I tried my mini Z out at BRCCC….too damn rough.

On 4 cells (try and score japanese made cells, they push the most current), you should be able to see very high speeds of above 50km/h…

Oh and also, who was i rude to?? If it happened on MSN in the last week, it was my drunken bum mate who lived with me for a week when he got kicked out of home. He frequently abused people on MSN, and if you dont believe me, ask bithed!

Well, it looks like you need to look into the electronics efficiency…

A FET mod will help here, but there will be more current drain due to lower resistance…

    A Bit Char-G is capable of 30km/h….

One thing, i don’t like the idea of a gear diff, don’t get me wrong, i think your skills are fantastic but gear diffs are sh1t and a waste of time…

Ball diffs are far far far far better… perhaps you could make one??

Rashumble, doing a dual cell mod with 1/3AAA’s is quite a big job.

Unless you have a dremel, dont even think about it….

If you need a hand, add me jamiekulhanek(at)hotmail.com to msn if you have it…

If the solder tabs detached, well, that would happen right after the cell self destructed and the whole bit turned into a puddle of molten goop….doubt it would be able to melt solder…
