Sorry pal, new GX-15CRG engine is a pretty 155 USD, repair bill came to around 35 USD

Ahhh no sign of Ultimas For sale anywhere for a decent price, the poms want 220-250 POUNDS each!!! I payed 159 US for the damn thing!

Mums oven is part of my tool set, i have used it a few times for these things, and i removed the bearing by heating the crankcase with a mini torch (took a full tank of gas to do the job!)

Looks pretty cool, though that paint don’t do much for the scale appearance……it’s kinda like gravel…..god im a picky bugger.

Your all beter off than me! I drowned my nitro 1/10 in a 20 cm deep puddle…..no damage.

Then 2 days ago the clutch shaft came loose and wobbled around…..then got jammed hard against the spur gear….while the engine was screaming at max RPM……….

The Conrod was bent and snapped, the piston had a chunk taken out of it, and the big end bearing cage broke causing the balls to do whatever they wanted.

The bill comes to around 50-60 aussie dollars, yet finding a spare 10x19x5mm bearing has been tough….maybe a new engine???

I’d love to take my car to the beach one day….sounds like fun!

Yeah ive seen one in the flesh and instantly fell head over heels in love with it…. Just like the XXX4 exept scaled down, it even has a slipper clutch!!
