Ever since i was little i have always hated hotwheels. Their lack of ‘suspension’ and crap detail….though they did roll smoother than matchboxes.
nothing wrong with 100″ chromies 😀
….and buy a mini Z Monster
Yes that is a mini 4wd time, so actual ground speed is probably 50km/h.
I tried loading the rollers with me finger :clown:, just to see what difference it made…..burnt my finger lol. It slowed down to about 60 clicks.
hmmm maybe you better stick some hydraulics in her
lol well compiled
I guess the looooooong wheelbase makes handling better???
PC + Internet = I log on.
Thats ur favourite ey trent.
I did try the no balls thing, but my left wheel adaptor is stuffed.
Ah good one ph2t.
yeh i noticed
The list of hopups parts is too long to write lol.
bloody steve irwin, dont worry yanks, not all of us run around like a rabbit on N2O shreiking CRIKEY! and chasing dangerous animals lol.
BS ph2t, but i haven’t tried those Carlton vodka shot ones yet.
Carlton rocks……the footy team does anyway.
hehe video….i might use the mini DV cams from school and upload it somehow……
Dave, i have almost finished your car, but i ran out of poly glue for the job (damn brother used it to fix ceiling console in his car) going to the LHS to get some tonight and this baby will be in the post 2morrow man. The servo has been tweaked and the bearings have been degreased for low mechanical resistance. Motor is done too. I am anticipating 36-42 km/h for yer car dave.
Specs:
6 cell 7.2v 750mAh NiMH soldered battery pack with deans 1/10 low loss connectors.
Tamiya 27t plasma dash motor with ball bearings, neodymium high power (Nd-Fe-B) magnets, copper magnet spacers (cheapest bang for buck mod) and massive heatsink with Deans 1/10 low loss connectors. The commutator has also been modded.
Internal 8×2 TURBO with heatsinks.
Lightened chassis (car weighs 240g, compared with stock 180g).
I am having a teeny bit of trouble with the ball diff at the moment, the monstrous torque being delivered through the GPM 13t Titanium pinion is enough to make a tight diff slip, which of course generates enough heat to make the aluminium diff plate thingies get quite hot.
The GPM titanium pinion is a necessity, as it does get hot, which would soften a plastic pinion and strip it.Just when you though that wasn’t enough, i am going to rewind another TPD motor armature to 19t which should again double the power output. Bye bye batteries. This in theory should pass 100km/h.
I still have some work to do on this, i.e. perfecting gear mesh, re do the bearings and commutator, repair the diff.
I am hoping these few little fix ups will get me into the 80’s.
Getting cheap as our dollar is high, $110 aud + 30 postage = $140
Question…PEBCASI, does that mean Problem Exists Between Controller And…..something???

coonas r tuff.
it rolls alot, but i gues it was on a rough surface patio.
4 cell racer chassis = buy a mini Z :):)
Good find micro, what dodgy bastards!
my word it is Dave, tooheys extra dry is the best, way better than crown lager and JB premium.
pan chassis???
Yeah i think i will have both, Formula One was my dream since i was like 4, but my parents saw it as a ‘silly childish thing that i will grow out of’, there is no chance of me getting into it anyway, you gotta have A1 skills and a rich ass family. Local club/drag racing is gonna be my aim, with a lovely black R32 GT-R…..But that is looking down the track a bit.
I think the offset is like 125khz or something
