So i guess a 1k pot would be my best bet, as a 10k job has crap resolution.

My car has Ultra bright white headlights, and rainbow underbody neons, which look sick. One of my headlights is failing tho which sucks.
What pots do you mean, the big ones or the trimpots? What should i change them to??

High power battery pack??? If you go over 5 volts you risk frying the Rx circuit. It uses 4 cells, 4.8v. I cant really see anywhere that you could put other batteries on the z.
Mods?? Well i guess thats personal choice, ive spent about $250-300AUD on upgrades for my car, it smokes stock zeds.

Ph2t, i have completed the throttle section of this circuit, but it has only 2 speeds, flat out, and just ticking over. I have checked the circuit and made sure it is all right, but to no avail.
I am just wondering if you have changed any components or made a new schematic. Please helpo this is giving me the sh*ts.Ph2t, i have completed the throttle section of this circuit, but it has only 2 speeds, flat out, and just ticking over. Quote:Quote:Micro Amps….How did u do the 3.6v internal mod?Jamie, it was 3 x 1.2v cells standing upright in a dremmeled out chassis. It didnt handle real well as the center of gravity is too high. It is in peices again now being rebuilt with 1.2v 40mAH button cells. When its finished it should be 3.6v 80mAH, hopefully when fully charged it will last long enough to be worthwhile.
A serious note here, if you are using those small button cells that come from jaycar (the green heatshrnk ones) you will be serverely disappointed. These tiny cells have no hope of delivering enough current to the motor, and can only be slow charged or they leak. I know this from experience. I think your best bet is the DC-DC converter.
I am truly surprised at how good these motors are….huge torque and top speed. With a dual cell mod/mosfet mod they literally ROAR when wound out, sounds sorta like a turbo.
i might come, but i need a lift to sydney.
I saw it the other night, it was ok, but it was the biggest load of sh*t ive seen to date.
That jump = impossible, and basically everything else that happens is crap.
Good point shypo about the floor falling out due to manifold probs.
BTW, anybody know why the R34 had those gas sprayer things, and do they do anything?
Im going to a movie marathon tonight so ill prolly see it then (unless the sheilas drag us to something lamer)

I used a small 3.6v battery from jaycar but it was a piece of crap. You can get those rub on transfer letters/numbersfrom good newsagents.
