Yeah Toyeast are nice to you if your order takes too long to process or they make a stuff up with it. I once had to wait 2 weeks for my order to get processed, and when I got it they threw in an extra mr02 kyosho tie rod set and an iwaver light set.
They’ve certainly retained me as a happy customer…

I had fun. Shame about the rain that came at 2pm.
I got there at 11.45am and had a good run with the skyline and sorted out its handling issues. It runs like its on rails now.

Betty, is that an i-waver benz body ? Both Mocky and myself have the i-waver benz shell and the front 2.5mm offset wheels rub the wheel arches/shell.

Kev; i’ve got a set of alloy rims made for 1st/2nd gen. Mercedes, they will(should) fit your car with no mods. Hows this; i’ll bring em with me this weekend, if they fit you can buy em if you want, or if not, no worries. If they dont fit without abit of dremel work, they are yours FREE. That’s how certain I am…:D

Did you have to dremel out the front wheel arches so that the wide offset wheels can actually turn without hitting the shell ?

Excellent. What motor are you running TD ?
Not many people going lately, everyone over it and moved on to girlfriends ? Girlfriends and rc don’t mix. They’d rather you spend time with them clothes shopping as oppose to playing rc.
5 cents.
To remove them, I use pointy tip pliers an pry from the sides where those two little slots are. Doing a bit from each side until it comes out…
For the bearings in the standard motor mount, I use the same as Dgs, allen key pushing the bearing from the other side.
Oh.. cleaned my bearings, and boy oh boy, do they keep spinning much better than new. It also solved by flying wheel nut problem, and the Z just keeps on rolling.

Yeah negative camber gets your fat wheels to remain under your wheel arches brother.

I like the thought of having the rear axle spin for more than a minute…or a wheel even…
