Timmy did you end up fixing your rear wheel problems ? That was bizzarre how that rear wheel wasn’t fixed to the axle. Don’t know how you’d get the nelly power to the ground with that setup.

I reckon we all would’ve flogged you in a drag race if you were up to it.

But like you said, it depends on many factors.

I’ve been looking around my area and haven’t found anything as smooth as meadowbank. The netball courts here are all smooth asphalt, which causes the z’s to bounce around a bit and possibly flip during high speed turning.

I’m always on the lookout for a better venue, and would like the change also, but haven’t found any better yet. The kiddy traffic at M’bank is annoying.

I had no problems with my car:). All I can say is it pays to do maintenance the night before and have spare parts on hand.

The interceptor is a Chrysler Charger with a v8 supercharged fuel injected suicide machine with a modified front end wasn’t it or was it a Falcon 500 ?

Hmm.. might have to get a set of these. I’m sick of buying spur/pinion gear sets only to find that the 9t always gets worn out before everything else.

Won’t be bringing the foamy stuff – takes too much effort to tape it all down as you all know.

Mine also sits in the cupboard while I learn to tune the MR01’s handling. Once I become happy with the way it handles, I’ll move on to the MR02. I haven’t run the MR02 outdoors yet, just the odd lap here and there in the lounge room. With mods, at the moment it’s just got bearings. I’ve got the ball diff, v-plates, tie rods, front knuckles sitting in a box – but just couldn’t be bothered installing them for now… still having fun with the mr01.

Dgs: Yes, I’m getting one. It’s in the post at the moment, should get here end of this week. I’m liking the look of the ferrari 575m and the Mclaren but gotta hold back…for now.
Have you run your 350z yet ? I find even with the stock motor the mr02 launches off violently compared to the mr01 with x-speed.

It’s looking pretty wet – times like this you want a track in your garage or lounge room.

Geo-z, chances are that Timmy won’t be showing up either. Let us know how the performance of the M’z motor goes… would really like to see if it really is faster than an x-speed. I’m got some interest in the motors at minzworkshop.

Yeah I think all those asc’s are getting out of hand and I’ve got to stop. You see, when I see a bargain, I just can’t help myself but press the “Pay” button. Looking back, maybe I should have gotten a monster truck or an F1 instead – a lot of small amounts on the credit card statement doesn’t stand out like a lump sum amount… these go under the radar from the mrs. blackeye:

I’m planning to use the wide bodied c5r on the mr02 chassis with the mzr v-plate.

Go for a wide body dude, more stabililty and doesn’t flip over like a narrow body does or cut the 355 like mine.:)
