Yep. Everyone realise this at the end.
Thanks for the info trash.
Can u please post the info for the mirage? And the price for it too. THanksThis mod is in its early form. Only bigger wheels has been added (which is the easiest part). And then it should have a full suspension mod. and dual cell. Mosfet mod and stuff…
Thanks ph2t for the pics.
It’s definitaly fast also because of the bigger wheels and the torque that FETs gave it.
And somehow i find there is not much difference between Double Stack and single FETs on same motors.Edited by – leonli17 on 24 December 2003 01:09:14
Is Mirage really bad flyer or something?
And what is the wingspan for A40?
Does A40 come with spare props? It is definetly a Toyota Echo (2002 and earlier). I like it. Do u think u can get me one z-beam?
I think a 12:1 gearing will be better for this. Because ur current setup is really for alota top speed.
And the best place to drive this baby is on a gravel road!!! Or just off the walk path.Edited by – leonli17 on 24 December 2003 00:32:50
And this is also the explaination for his thick clothes. No one wears that many clothes downhere during Xmas(summer). It must be drugs in the hidden pockets.
Oh…oops…i think i mixed it up with the Perfection SBCGs.
My mistakeMmm…u made a good point trash.
come to think of it…Santa is kinda suspecious.Nice one betty.k.
It seems that trash got a new challenger.:smiley2:It must be a Booster. The switch at the back is for switch the car between a single-speed and 2=speed.
And I say that the SBCG’s shells are just more realistic and more european cars too.Just need to add some crack effects on the windows, and some flat tyres. Then it’ll will be perfect.
U can add a LED or globe for an indicator. But i don’t really think u need it unless u add a timer with the charger.
And i’ve use custom Power Adaptor chargers since i got my first Dual Cell. I used outputs range from 300mA to 1A. And from 3V-6V. The chargers are definitaly good when u r at home and u want a quick charge on a multi cell car. And it saves u a lota money from buying batteries.Somehow, after i read this tutorial, i can imagine my self just destroyed my Skywolf. Because before, i didn’t followed most of the things u said and i was lucky enough to keep the plane in 1 piece.
DOn’t get me wrong. It’s a great tutorial. I should read it over again.THe latest I will stay untill is like 3:40 so wish i can meet u uA.
mmm…Does the batteries get hot when the PCB get hot? And when u got 4.8V total voltage. Then u need something higher voltage to charge it.
I don’t know how the PCB gets hot, we just have to wait uA to answer this one.Yeah. ZZ consider as Micro RCs. So they can just post into BCG Forums.
mmm…I left one of mine dualcell on Custom Charger for like 8 hours and nothing broken. I must be lucky.
Yeah, they will replace the Trans with a 6 speed. I wish they put CVT in there.
That is cheap(like $10 off the original). And Kmart got the HotWheels RC which use the same controller and Chassis. Only the shell is different. But they cost $24
Just watch out for ur motor H-R. Because now u have 6V go through the motor. And it will be really easy to stuff the motor. So don’t run the car too long.
And u’ll need a really big space to let it reach top speed. I think about 20-30M. Because remember u got 4 cells on it. All the extra weight will reduce the acceleration.I still don’t know what Sand Paper do i use to sand paint (smooth enough).
I just wish u can drive that car on P plates. But then again, I still have to wait 2 years to get my P plate.
And I wish there will be a FPV version of the XR6 Turbo (like Twin Turbo) Is there enough space for that?Edited by – leonli17 on 10 December 2003 00:27:28
I made a prototype of the H plate suspension on BCG before. It works well because the plastic i use is really thin and it absorbs shocks alot. And I am working on a Suspension that’s like the 4WD rear suspension which will be good for rough terrains
