Some electronic improvments

1) Dual cell your car creates stronger steering.

2) Replacing the steering transistors with mosfets helps as well but not as much as a dual cell. I personally do this when doing the fullsize wheel mod.

Some non electronic ones are.

1) re-align the magnet and check the steering enclosure, also glue the magnet. This technique makes your steering more even and consistent between left and right.

2) a bit of talc power over the wheel knuckles helps reduce friction

3) buy a rare earth magnet from Tandy(radioshack), apparently they have just the right size. I dunno about this mod though ’cause I reakon the stock magnet is pretty strong anyway. I’d like to know if anyone has tried this….?

I’m sure other members will post their hints and tips as well.

I like music, especially old blues and jazz and 60’s funk. I play the piano and guitar as well. I live on computers, am a nerd to the n’th extreme. I also like to antagonise users on verious forums, lol….

Yeah, that’s over at minizracer and mzworld. Bitpimps is for micro-rc only, hence target audience is different. It’s like comparing apples and oranges….

First off, welcome to the board fellas.:)

mxm, mobile phones can afford to have small antennas ’cause their freq of operation is so high. General rule, the higher the freq, the shorter the antenna to have the same effect.

Personally I use electric guitar string that is very fine and tensile. You can’t even tell that it’s there.

Panda, don’t even bother with the 27Mhz ones. Get the 40Mhz. They have way better range and they don’t suffer from the “last command remembers” issue the 27Mhz suffer from.
