the_bit read a post properly before posting a reply, i didnt say the car was still on the dyno did i. WHEN THE CAR COMES OFF THE DYNO IT WIL DRIVE NORMALLY. SO WITH A BIT THE R-SPEC HAS ENUF TORQUE TO DRIFT. ok

it wont cut off, been there tried that. you will have to use a very hot and high wattage iron to take it off

ok, first things first. the range on the older cars i have seems a tad better but other new cars have cripple capacitators whcih can be cut off and you will then have the same range (usually)
LXX’s only come in a few different styles compared to BCG the LXX’s come in 4 plain skyline colours and 5 different race spec colours, most of these are a clean cut rip off of BCG. the calsonic is a LXX special edition with a so called 1500 ever made. my advice is steer clear of clones until you want to try some radical modification becos BCG are the orignal and imo the best

clones in australia are released on “safe” frequencies. in another threead it tells you which frequencies are “dangerous”

that really sux, i have tried so many different things for decals, i bought sum clear labels:sad:
some actual sticker paper-way way to thick:sad:
now some proper decal paper but i have like 1/2 a sheet left

a Dyno is a bunch of rollers whcih a car sits on and when the caris started it turns the rollers, the car doesnt move it just spins the rollers, the rollers are connected to a graphing system which records the power output of each gear and RPM.

and about the R spec motor, its is extremely fast and very very torquey’ some ppl can do proper controlled drifts with it

i have decided to copy the C-west Rx7 race car as a BCG project and the moulding of the bodykit and stuff isnt hard, tracking down the decals and applying such tiny decals in cefrtain areas is very very hard, 27USD????? man thats like $50AU for decal paper

on the motor subject i sugest the tiny-rc R spec motor, the speed of a 3.4-3.6 and the torque of 2×1.6’s
