Nice work on the Hachi. putty is fun…….:D
Go with the Iwaver. A die cast RC is useless.
That’s my new baby. Shelby GT500 mustang. Lithiums and lots of other stuff once it gets here…..
@ph2t: could I prepay for a nelly deluxe? I’m in no hurry whatsoever. I would just like to get on a waiting list if possible. Just give me the word, and I’ll send the paypal payment. I know these are in high demand, so I don’t want to miss out.Nope. just used a gold basecoat and four coats of Testors candy apple red
I had a similar problem with a Stage 2 motor kit. Out of all of them, only the 8 tooth motor worked. I got the same thing, steering, but no drive. Bad motors?
Cool you got those cars though. I bought a few that had no crystals, and all the wiring was cut….

I’m thinkin FETs a bigger motor, more cells= MUCH bigger tires!!!:D
You got a customer here. I like the fact that you’ve made a “Micro Nelly” of sorts for bits. I’ll be getting of your Xmod nellys and I guess I’m gonna have to get this for a couple of my bits as well.
Yeah, all this kid wants to do is start static, so just ignore him.
well, actually I think sessiz from bitpimps is the first to do this. The only difference is he scrapped the stock wheels for bit ones, and I’m not sure if it was a tri cell or not. And besides I don’t need recognition, I like to share.
Here’s the chassis before completion
Here it is all buttoned up.
If you would like to do this, let me know and I’ll try to show you the stepsEdited by – zensx on 26 November 2003 05:26:39
could it be done to a tri-cell, or would the pcb just fry?
The whole thing has been an uphill battle. I have to slice some width off the fronts so it will clear the body. The rears I also want tucked in a little more. i’ve driven it without the body and it’s scary fast.
Here’s a pic with the body on..
Plus i had to break it all down and re-wire everything. It seems two of the cells were bad, so I replaced them. It’s much cleaner and sets the pcb lower, so it clears the roof just fine.
The blue one is next.

Whoop that ass DT! I like the pics. It don’t matter if it’s photochopped or not. Great job!
Killer car man! I like the color. your stuff is getting better and better.
No way, that be an FD all the way. Must have been a screw up.
The engine is from a muscle machine. I had to shave the underside and the steering bulkhead cover to make it fit. It took about an hour to detail the engine. Right now I’m still working on the hinge assembly for the hood.
I don’t have lights, but I may do so in the future. In the meantime, I was playing around with my camera and came up with this.
They came off a X concepts modifier car. Here is another pic with my newly finished convertible supra body.
I got them from an X concepts modifier kit. It’s basically a larger scale die-cast car with a bunch of “aftermarket parts” that you use to mod the car. the wheels are modeled after real aftermarket rims.
yeah. They’re a b**ch to put on, but it’s worth it.
Here’s the controller and the chassis
I just got my camera back. Here are some more pics
finally got my digi cam back. So I replaced the top pics. I think they look much better.
Here’s the back of the TT
