Sounds cool, just watch out fo the five 0

On the Dual motor, stretched chassis BB I built, I found a mad increase in torque, and after some gear combo experimentation, a slight increase in speed. But even with the two motors and triple cells, It barely keeps up with my dual cell Z. Probably because of the big dfference in weight.

Well, It’s finished, but it doesn’t work. I would love to post pics but it would seem that I am digicam deficient.

As far as the connection goes, the positive end of the cars battery is making good contact with the charging tab. The negative end has an insulator between the cell and the charging tab. The cells are wired in series, like I’ve done to all my dual cell cars. I just can’t seem to wrap my mind around the fact that nothing I have done is working.
    Oh well……

This is actually my third dual cell mod. I have also built a tri cell dual motor Toyota BB. My custom charger has 4AA’s.
I went through the car again, and still can’t find the problem.

No biggie. I just finished putting the second battery in. I am in the process of flipping the pcb, and should be finished soon! I am really happy with the way it’s turning out.

    Thanx for the suggestions guys…..

I noticed that there is a “plug” of something (maybe butyl) covering the screw. Is this easy to remove, or should I just leave it alone?

I know that this is a little off topic… but I have seen some people using glue or putty to “seal” in the rear axle. Does this work to keep the car tracking a straighter line?

It is truly a difficult thing to do with a car that has such a small wheelbase. I noticed earlier today that my stretched chassis car is much easier to drift. Maybe the secret is in the wheelbase.

Really? interesting. I was under the assumption that it would raise the front end. pretty much all of my cars except for Bitzilla have the stabilizer removed.

good idea gt-ahh. I have a conventional dual cell car that I am getting a Castrol Skyline body for, so I want to make it sort of a sleeper with the second cell inside. That is the true purpose of this project. So when my freinds come over with their cars, they’ll have no idea what they’re in for!

I saw a custom monster chassis built by “biohazard” on rcmod.com that has a custom steering setup. It is cool, but I would love to develop one for a stock bit.

I am getting a castrol skyline body and it is cool, but it is no where near as cool as the calsonic. Although the only one that could top it would be the NUR. (for $300 dollars it better be)

I have a freind that bought an lxx and I must say that the quality isn’t as good as the tomy cars. I like some of the clones out there, but everyone keeps telling me that they die prematurely.
