    As it stands:

Mini-G (Big Dave) Your X5 is here

I have 10kg of stuff from TE due today and the majority of the Autoscales should land from Japan on Tuesday as they’re not showing up as being in AU yet, but are in the Air as I type this.

This does mean it’s less likely that I’ll be up for some Racing on Sunday. However you never know.

Going to go with the Silver with Black stripes as the Poll suggests. If all goes well pics will emerge after this weekend.

Got new Chrome Bling to suit and a little something extra to show off!

That could be interesting. The Amazing race has a small amount of that. It’s more to do with pushing peopel to the limit of their comfort zones within relationships to see who/what breaks first!

    Just a little bit 🙂

The producers are difinately going a big ‘hard core’ with the show this year, sex, nudity, and conflict.

    Always a great mix.

On a side note, I’ve been playing witht he PN Racing silicon wire we sell inthe shop. Damn that stuff (like any silicon wire) is durable compared to regular stuff!

OK it’s not likely to magicaly make the car faster, although at higher drain loads with hot motors it should make a difference, but it’s just nice to have good tough flexible wire!

The $180 odd is becuase they re basically sellign the same price as a Mini-Z and becuase stock is low no-ones discounting. It took a month for the Mini-Inferno to come down so these will probably be the same.

Another benefit of doing the silicon grease is that it holds the fets in place while soldering 🙂

Depends how much of a hurry you’re in Jamie? I’ve placed a BiG order with TE today that includes a couple of peopels requests. I can always chuck whatever you want into the next order I do (probably 2-4 weeks)

But Betty now you get play ‘watch the Logans swap girls’

I enjoy most reality TV (sucker I am) but usually get annoyed by most of the people in it… This years BB especially. Still can’t help but watch. It keeps out PVR very busy!

No worries – most 2×3 stacks will handle any motor. The only issue may be heat buildup in the stack – in particular with the higher resistance 7389s or 3003s.

iWaver Oil shocks are sold in sets of 4.

I would think most OL’s won’t be bashed as hard as the monsters are with their big wheels which is why the Monsters tend to _need_ alloy.

There’s no iWaver 03 gear… and the rumor (if you belive what they talk about in MRCC) is that there won’t be an 03 that’s like an Overland.

I would expect things like shocks, shock mounts, some steering gear guys and so on to exchange.

    Bearing sets don’t!

I would strongly recommend against the chips you mentioned. Just read a few quick links and they’re not up to the task with hot motors.

I’ve not heard of them before but will do some reading today and get back to you. The main FETs used in Mini-Z are: IRF7317 (that I sell), IRF7389 (that I used to sell), SI4562DY (that most others sell for way mroe than they’re worth).

They sell for about the same price as a complete Autoscale body! Obviously shipping is less but still! Very exxy at about AUD50 a set from the only one of our suppliers that currently lists them …. Can look for a better source but would think AUD25ish is still exxy 😉

Also I have now listed everythign up in the shop (http://shop.ausmciro.net) with prices etc so if you want to make life easier for me (it simplifies paperwork) chuck stuff into and order and so on 🙂 The gear should leave Jpan in the next couple of days except for the X5 that’s currently not in stock.
