    TOYO!

I was checking out some other stuff and just checked out your Gallery. Well done! The pics probably don’t do the amazingly fine and intricate work justice.

Keep on posting! As for costs, remember you have somethign unique and that in itself makes it exclusive, you’d be surprised how much people would pay for that!

I hear another member of the site is thinking about changing the floor coverings in one large room of his house (in the process of renovating) to suit the Mini-Zs…. Now that’s dedication!

The carpet we have at work sucks… very poor directional stability, but reasonable lateral grip, I actualyl carpet may be a bad move and would think some kind of rubberised matting be better?

I gotta admit I do like the SBCG for some of their features. But it was a bit of a “drop the ball” by Tomy for not making them a bit better than what they ended up being.

Certainly didn’t fix many BCG probs …

Um I’ve been trying to nail down dates in my own Calander and so far it looks like Decemeber/January no go, October no go, Novemeber is looking like our only option for a Month of choice.

I’ll see if I can sure something up over the next two weeks.

Betty.K that’s right you can vote for yourself.

I was talking to z-beam about this a couple of weeks ago and he and I surmised that some of the most interesting things about this competition structure will be how it plays out.

Becuase I haven’t built the full vote counting system yet (it’s built to tally votes 100% correctly but not prettied up) I have the options of doing some normalisation, averages means or the like. For this comp I will base on tally but the next one – well that will be driven by possibly somethign based on the experiences of this one.

I think that people who visit ausmicro.com and enter competitions are mature enough to work within the spirit of the system, and even then I have ways of detecting and preventing abuse. (which is why it took so long to build the competition system).

*laughs* If I delete the thread all the post counts would get reset automatically. Actually it’s no effort on my part!

    BUT

Within the 58 pages there’s a lot of interesting stuff, pics and comments that need to be preserved 😉

I’ll attempt to lock when it hits 60 pages exactly 🙂

Then just start a new one!

Guys – they won’t be as cheap as you’d like 🙂 Mainly becuase we’ll be doing this ‘officially’ and not just passing on group-buy type pricing.

Bithed – I think there’s a gulf of difference between the Kyosho product and the iWaver. The iWavers are a fun hack around car but the Kyosho stuff is the bomb in overall quality and presentation.

    I should have pricing today!

    Pete, (and others)

PayPal is best only used with you’re in the US (or generally outside of Australia) as it costs an a stack to land cash back here. It’s partly becuase I have the higher level PayPal account which lets us do huge transactions in all directions but has some decent fees.

So on that page (which is still in ‘draft’) other methods are highlighted. This page will change once a few more things fall into place but for the moment everything is covered!

Dave the box may land with you today or tomorrow.

There’s a stack of invoices in it… and I’ve bagged seperate groups of stuff as well sorta.

There’s only Talldude, mocky and you in the box IIRC.

I think the bearings and nuts arrived here today – we’ll see when I get out of here.

They work fine witht he iWavers though kevsta 😉

I think the wheel offsets etc used by iWavers are ever so slightly different to the Kysho ones.

For the record the F355 and Benz iWaver cars run fine out of the box 😉 had 3 here the other day 🙂

And yes bearings are cheaper and arrive in 2-3 days from ausmicro.com 🙂
