ZZ Discussion goes into the Micro R/C forum. There isn’t enough ZZ discussiont o wrrant a stand alone forum, just like there wasn’t enough traffic to make a Digi-Q only forum work 😉

it will be great to have small thumbnail sized pics in posts, thanx guys!

Done. You will be able to attach a pic, pdf, doc or the like to any post. If it’s an image you’ll get to see a smallish thumbnail in the post. The feature is NOT going to be avilable in the “Quick Reply” area, only in the “Reply to Topic” area.

If it’s offensive the moderating team has controls to lock the post. Notice that teh attachment exists will still be placed there, so everyone will know the user was being a tool.

any chance of getting a customisable color scheme happening?

    maybe as a subscriber feature?

You do know right now you can select from a couple of diferent colour schemes? OK they’re not the greatest, but I’m hoping a change in the base code (it’s becoming more CSS friendly) will let us give a wider array of changes in the presets. As it is this is something I’m tasking towards the direction of Kitty as she’s more up with CSS stuff, and probably can devote more time to building colour combos than I can.

Now as of about this time yesterday I managed to finally get the file attachment stuff done. Plus finish the Member Support mods. This leaves the gallery system to go, it’s probably the biggest task but in many ways the most rewarding for us all.

I can’t think of much else to add at the moment, so if you Members have any ideas please post them here. They may not happen immediately but anything that’s doable stands a good chance of happening…

I’ve heard PCB board pins are pretty good for it.

BTW I’m about to order another batch of FETs…

They will be ‘cheap’ as the supplier has passed on some currency savings. Like 20% price drop….

I might add that Kitty has chased up prices of getting smaller stickers printed up – they’re about $5 each COST…So it’s unlikely that we’ll be sending them out to early subscribers, BUT if we get a good number of subscribers such that we can do the stickers, then every subscriber gets one.

I should reinforce that I’m not embarking on this to rip money out of the community, instead I want to get a little cash behind us so that we can keep running smoothly, and do more things that are good for us. Be that having our own server (e-mail accounts – proper websites?) havign regular competitions with good prizes and also merchandise available all the time instead of trying to get group orders together.

I have this strange vision of uA desperating working out how to FET mod it and Jamie working out how to stack a bag of Spuds onto a chassis. and Ph2t sitting back wondering which eyes to attach the lights to.

Betty.K just wants to get the Spud back into the dirt :smiley2:

In Australia porn is generally legal, but depending on the type of porn, and the nature of the products sale is restricted in most states. The ACT (and Northern territory) have a thriving mail-order industry sellign it to every other state/

Fireworks are mostly legislated out of home use everywhere however our laws let them be sold here, (but you can’t legally let them off) 😉

OK I just went and tried it. It works fine for me. I’m going to have a quick hack at fixing the repeating bug…

But that shouldn’t be causing problems for you z-beam. It should only happen the first time…

Make sure you’re uploading .jpg files with a proper file extension of .JPG or .jpg

You should find that as you add more pics down the line after the first pic they don’t all get replaced. Something weird happens with the code that I can’t quite work out when all the image slots aren’t filled.

My guess would be that the secret ingredient of the Reverse FET has escaped.

Pefect time to FET mod… even a little 2×2 stack pair would be nice 😉
