I run a 3.0, and besides the dodgy reverse, it hasnt slowed down a bit.

I dunno, i dont have a 2.6 as yet. I heard they are good tho.

Yeah i know what you are saying. When i charge my vehicle/plane packs I put them in a soft wine cooler which helps regulate the temp, and allows me to charge at higher current. Cause I hate waiting!! I don’t like the primative controller charger…but you cant use deltapeak, or “smart” chargers, because the reciever is always drawing current, and they don’t like this.

Someone tested the charger on the TX, and it chaged at about 400mAh, which gives it just a ‘zap” of power. Thats why I get 5 mins with TX charger, and 20 mins with electronic stand alone charger.

Thats the exact same thing as mine…in my honda s2k it did that but in my skyline, it goes forward, but you have to tap forward then reverse to go backwards.

I have a 3.0…but it has little torque below 15000revs, what’s the 2.6 like, is it that much slower?

And does anybody know how a 3.8 goes…eg no torque?

Its a bit of a lottery with these things…i’d say one of the tuned circuit components is incorrect/faulty.

I noticed the ToyEast site has Mini Z’s for around US$90-$99 this makes them around $200 , which seems heaper than all the prices mentioned here so far.

Get an X speed motor, ball bearings, or one of NML(NoMotorLimit) motors, they are the beasts!!!!! Hand wounded and stuff, BUT DON’T FORGET TO PUT A TURBO OR A NEW ESC IN YOUR CAR AS THOSE MOTORS COULD BURN YOUR ESC AND IT WILL BE AN @$$:smiley2: My mini-z is very fast, i lowered it, put inch up bling-bling rims on it, and all that stuff, and no cat could catch it!!! yeah also get tyre set, gear ratios, and stuff, if you want more of what you need to get just email me/post it here/or AIM me, Untitled832
