Hmmmmm …. still have no idea what the big suprise is tho … From the sounds of it, your not making enough money, yet you still want fair price, casue your prices are very good, is there going to be some kind of price increase ? or am i on the wrong track? lol .. i got no idea !

My 3.0 won’t go forwards without running it in reverse first. It’s junk.

speed holes, make the car go faster? lol 🙂

    sorry couldnt resist

actually i noticed alot of reinforcing plastic on the inside (where its a big lump for no reason) so i might just shave that out

dont like the idea of putting holes in my purdy skyline body tho lol

    thanks

    –edit–

    just had another look

there’s two big strips of plastic i can shave out, not very much, but enough (even the smallestchange can do a bit in performance i guess)

anyway i suppose weight doesnt matter too much since im getting 2 150MAh batteries eventually.. i could pull a lead block lol (well not quite, but it’d be damn fun to watch)

now if only i had a digi camera i could show you my ‘simple yet effective’ paint job 🙂

eep.. i do have a habit to go out on tangents, off i go

Ohhh sold under the Skynet banner – will have to see what the wholesale supply is like 😉 The other Skynet series cars are available for a fairly high price but at least available!

Ok lets move on a bit here.

We’re over a week and a half away – so I can’t reveal too much without stepping on toes and talking out of school….

A quick run down on the facts so far:

    • Derek and I will no longer selling through ausmicro.com
    • Derek and I been working on a range of Mini-Z accessories that are affordable and top shelf.
    • Derek and I are not opening a land based shop.
    • There will be a change to the way Micro and Mini Scale stuff is sold from November 1st.
    • If there’s a change that means there will be a way buy them that is better.
    • [/list]

Now for tonights sniff of new info…. One of the reasons Derek and I started selling stuff was becuase generally we were selling stuff for well below the street price – basically we’re always trying to make sure the hobby can grow in Australia (and around the world). Part of that is this site – the rest is making sure enthusiasts will be able to get parts and cars for fair prices.

      That hasn’t changed…

Go the 2.6 – the Tomy 3.0 motors simply lack the torque to do much.

You could lighten the chassis a bit by drilling out some holes as well…

Yeah I know it’s not the best out there Panda but as I’m a carpark hack driver the TA03F will do well.. Especially since is has all the Pro bits on it as well.

If you’re ever selling the TA04 make sure you let me know in advance!

BTW how do you find the M03? TL01 with FWD only is what it looks like to me…..

*laughs* Hey guys remember we’re friendly here. As I now know what car Kitty has I can say that yes she’s got a Silver Trueno – it’s the first and only one we’ve sold thus far! Was a few months ago now.

I’m sure Kitty will beg borrow or whatever a digicam and share some pix in good time! *grins* Maybe I should create a new forum called “Show us your bits!”

Don’t tease the Kitty, they have teeth and claws!

Sounds like these things have some real quality issues. Shame because the price is good and it’d be nice to have good quality alternatives to the Tomy cars!

Still I’ll stand by what I’ve always said – Tomy makes the best Micro R/C I have seen….

yeah what he said but its very fiddly work….i almost guarantee when a motor of this size is pulled apart, it probably won’t work very well again…

    *grins* this is fun guys!

Jamie I’m sure your decision will reverse in a few days – Derek and I shall hopefully be able to reveal more by the end of this week.

Those Automodellistas only cleared customs a couple of days ago and are finally ready for me to pick up. As mentioned in a e-mail out to prospective customers we will be selling all stock through e-bay.

Why through e-bay? Becuase with the changes coming in we’re both flat out trying to get everythign in place for Nov1….
