What is the performance like of a dual motor? What gear ratio works best?

i got these rims from these old hotwheels that were laying in my closet.

the specs on my car:
-2spd chasis
-3.0 motor
-and three differnt gear ratios.

im thinking of changing the colour of my body, but i have had a bad experience with one of my clear bodies.

what do you guys use to paint your car?
model paint?

the bearings can be bought in any rs. are they that crappy? miniz bearings fit no problem?

listen to crazydave. hes the man when it comes to painting bits.

i dont know if they sell plastikote candy apple/metal flake clearcoat in the land of venomous ants and koalas or not. if they do thats the stuff. ive never had a paintjob scratch or chip with it and it is really really shiny.

i tried a 5 cell conversion on my mini z and it slowed it down did i do something wrong or do i need fets first ?

I have found that everytime I lift my cordless phone off the hook my 27MHz car stops. You need to press on the controller to get it moving again.

Here’s what I did.
Option 1
I cut tiny stirps of rolling papers – yeah for cigarettes or doobies (which you spark is up to you)

I rolled a bit at a time on the axle with some epoxy and then slid it into the pullback rims and let them set.

Option 2
fill the tyre holes with epoxy, let set and drill out at a good 90 degrees with a drill press if you have one – you can get a mini drill press for dremels and/or small drills – Dick Smith has them or you can get a cheap GMC drill press for about $70 at you local Bunnings or Big W. ifyou spend a bit more you can get the laser guided one and be a huge geek.

yep i think they will cost around $2.50 (yeah i know-ripoff) but then i can t complain i got it for free!!!

another bonus is that i work for woolies now (i bet you are thinking how the hell that relates to this) and after 1 month we get a discount card that can be used at all woolies owned stores. (woolies, Big-W, Tandy Dicksmith and there is some alcohol store too)

I have the Lamborghini Box set in 27MHz C and experience the same thing. I also have the Lamborghini Jota in 40MHz B – it’s not as bad but tends to suck a bit too.
Are all the Super Bits this sucky or is it the metal plate in my skull again?

Any Super Bit Char G mods anyone?
