    they do exist, just look around. you’re looking for a 1/3 AAA 2.4V batt. i’ve seen 12V batts the same size, but i wouldn’t use that unless you like to see smoke:8ball:

    it’s at this point in this topic that i feel i should remind our overseas micro rc friends that not everyone in this country is ‘blessed’ with ignorance. i feel that no matter where you are in the world, people are people. i don’t believe most iraqi’s think saddam hussein is a fair and just leader, they’re not stupid, they are (mostly) intelligent people like (most of) us too. there’s a crapload of american people that are ashamed and deeply saddened by the actions of their government in various campaigns around the globe in the name of ‘freedom’ and ‘god’. and in australia there’s a great proportion of people upset that our government is choosing to rekindle the ugliest aspects of the ‘white’ 1950’s.
    do you detect a theme here boys!?:angry: that’s right, around the world in every country people are outraged, people are hateful, people are sympathetic, and some people are completely f*#@ed off with stupid, uninformed attitudes towards other PEOPLE!!:angry:
    quite frankly i’m of the opinion that bush and hussein are both as evil as each other and should both be made to stand trial for crimes against humanity.
    so by all means, have your opinions, just make an effort to be informed somewhere other than mainstream media. as anyone with a scanner will tell you, there’s a whole lot of hardcore stuff going on that hardly anyone knows about in your own back yard, so imagine what’s happening around the world that we don’t know about:8ball:

    right on ph2t!:angry:
    i think most of us agree that we are all entitled to our own opinions, and that coupled with the range of cultures we experience everyday make this the grouse country i think it is. but this is a forum for rc cars and toys, and definately not for hardcore political or racially motivated comment. this topic could also attract attention from people who shut down websites under suspicion of terrorist links.
    so count to 10, click the link below and look at some rc’s, the reason we’re here:D:8ball:

    naah, it’s not propo. it’s got a switch to select from 3 speeds, but it’s on the car. the controls are as follows;

    1 = forward
    4 = reverse
    2 = left
    3 = right:8ball:

    i’m no techo, but it sounds like a dud battery. does it go in reverse when charging? or just forward. does the steering work? it could even be a blown transistor. do any of the pcb components get hot when charging or driving? just answer these questions and someone with more electro smarts will give you a better solution:8ball:

    i have a controller that stutters in reverse too, probably a dodgy terminal, but i fixed that, and this brings us back on topic, by buying another one. they’re cheap enough to set fire to for fun!! but remember kiddies, don’t play with fire unless under strict adult supervision! and brush 3 times daily. and respect your parents. and……..:8ball:

    remove the screw that holds the pcb down and CAREFULLY lift the pcb. enertecs are not wired up as neatlty as a bcg and there’s a bit of tape holding the batts down which has steering wires stuck to it so go easy. you’ll see what i mean. once you’ve done that you’ll notice there’s 2 screws in the motor cover. take ’em out and with a small screwdriver pop the cover off through the tab slot behind the motor.:8ball:

    brendan: :sad:i feel your pain! i’m no techo so the best advice i have is check for broken wires and have a close look at the transformers around the motor wires. the first one i bought died after 5 goes, but i found out it was a dud motor. i just replaced it and haven’t had a problem since, so test the motor as well.
    dizzy: i think they’re unreal! but it was one of the first cars i bought so i’m a bit biased. check this thread for more info:

    you asked questions about putty in another thread.
    i don’t use putty because when i get an idea i just go for it with what i’ve got. when i needed to fill gaps i just shape a peice of plastic with a file or on the concrete and glue it in with super glue. just keep adding more glue to the gaps in stages so it dries properly until it’s high enough. then sand away! the glue sets rock hard and is stronger than the plastic. the advantages i see are it’s cheap, you can drill into it and install screws and it hardens quicker than putty. although i should say that i’ve never used putty, it may do the same things that the plastic and glue method does.:8ball:
