nice weather yesterday, cool and cloudy with no rain. Need more like it… TD; no worries dude, will be ready when i next see you…
ok… sweet. Getting all those 1/10 bits ‘n pieces in a couple of hours… looking foward to tonight…
belt driven mate… i think betty mentions it about ten posts back… Merc; i’m a newb in 1/10… why was the TC3 a crap choice for me? Do share, i’m all ears…
no worries… thought you’d at least want to keep the #1 gear in case of future issues… will have
$$ for you SundayQuote:yeah.. AHH TC3.. one of the worst cars i have driven. can some body say torque steer.. or whoope i hit a bump there goes my spur.. needs a fair amount of $$ in a TC3 to kick ass. want a shaftie get teh evo4/pro 4 or make u life easy and wait for the pro 5 (belt).. gonna be a kickass car.. gonnna win the worlds.. mini g check out my sprint if ya want a beltie…*shrugs* i’ve got no problem with my TC3… torque steer? Have’nt had an issue with that… only issue i’ve had with this thing was due to my own ineptitude/impatience, other than that (quickly fixed issue) she’s a corker. Oh, and Merc; belts might not snap (often), but they do skip and stretch. But i’m not here to give people static… and the shaft v. belt thing could go on for ever. Let’s just say they both have their pros and cons.
as soon as i see one i’m gonna grab one of them… every time i see TD i wind up playing with it… sooo much fun in a tiny package…:approve::D
i’ll take them dood…:smiley2: Stu; sweet. might just have to get the track out now. ‘Bout time, sez all!!:D
that’s a great deal you scored there…:approve:
so… this weekend? Anyone up for it? Who’s busy? Gotta get enough people coming to make taking the track worthwhile…
coimng along well… you could also flare the wheel arches using a heat gun, giving more room before the front wheels’d hook up. Where’d you get the little intercooler? Cool as…:approve::D
try the ‘bay… those rims on the right can be hard to get hold of… i’ll get up a better pic of those rims, they’re pretty much the same style (bbs), but the right ones are alot bigger with finer detail. . As it is, i only display them… not gonna ruin them by running them, as the chassis they’re on is capable of 57kph… and likes to traction roll. You’ll find better rim pics in my gallery
just got into the 1/10 hobby so only got the one saddle pack floating about… 200mah nicad Sanyos… gonna grab some 3300 nimh shortly though. Should see just a slight difference…:smiley2:
Eagle on left Z, Square inch ups (larger diameter wheel) on right Z. Sorry about pic quality, phone camera being used again but you get the idea…
i do for starters… all but one of mine have alloys. A tiny bit heavier than stock (but helps keep the car planted…), plus they look cool as. Try Square, Kyosho, Eagle, Topcad…
might invest in these two if i can get mine working right again… nice looking parts
Quote:I’d prefer most people placed the Order through the Shop (http://shop.ausmicro.net) with payment as it provides a proper tracking of the order and automagically tallies things up.Typically I WILL NOT be ordering the PN gear in any other colour except their trademark Orange Colour. Why? Beucase stocking colours triples the quantity I have to carry, and it also makes the parts easier to confuse with less specialised parts.
However IF want a different colour you can get them in this pre-order with pre-payment.
Dave you’re special and counted on the other order system 😉
A.
cheers mate… will tally up total tonight and forward amount to you on the usual day this week…
thet’re a big Bit when it comes down to it… where abouts did you see them for that price? Like Pete sez, they used to go for about 49.95 in the city… about the same price as an autoscale (display), with as many useable parts that can carry over to a Z; body, wheels/tyres, bodyclip. Spend an extra 40 or so and get the real deal.:smiley2:
hmmm. might have tobreak out the Dremel and have a prod this weekend. It shall live again!!:p
ok, after a rebuild, i’m at a loss. No change. Hopefully this gearbox replacement will see me terrorizing the dog and backyard again
i agree with z-beam totally… you dont want to be stuck with stock you cant shift… you got a colour scheme on your Z chassis’ too eh?:D:smiley2: quick q too, z-beam; what’s your method of stripping back anodised parts?
i’ll stick with the silver… i felt the orange was very close to Kyosho’s matt gold finish too…
so we place pre-order here? Got a couple of things in mind… mr-01 pro mount (silver), S03 mod motor, plus silver wheel nuts
all gears are sweet (suprising, as i’ll drive it anywhere there’s no water…), no stripping, all teeth on pinion, spur and other gears were cleaned/checked thoroughly, with no issues. Am going to srip it right back again tonight, will post up how i go tomorrow. Ta for the help too, am thinking a new gearbox set is on the way…
no fets in the Monster, so that’s out. ok, knuckles and damper stays are gpm alum., the wheels are real Kyosho, as is the xspeed. I’ve had this thing for about 1 1/2 years, this is the first issue of this type i’ve had. Tried everything, still at a loss. Odd thing was everything meshed sweet till i removed the stock donk. It’s easy enough to get the motor clip on (and i double check spacers are right as a habit anyway), but really seems to be struggling to get power. And yes, fresh batts. 800mah Sanyos
tried that dood… no luck. Soldering iron? Yippee!!
