bought two Bits at Modeller’s world on Friday… got the yellow RX7 and the Skyline history set,
was suprised by the price of the Mazda, only $5 more than Compacts. Skyline set was worth the dosh for me cause i’m another GTR nut. Gonna get a wild next this weekend. Didn’t have much stock, just battle set, both wilds and a Supra.
Definately up for a hook shooter!!:D

Hard to say what could be up… it went straight before you dropped 2.6 in, yeah?? Could be tracking, too slick a surface, etc. Try softer tyres on the back for abit more traction, or even throw some high speed gears in… My 27MHz gtr had similar issues last week, after throwing in a lucifer turning was briefly given up on… donut central!! Chucked in the aqua gears, and found i gained some steering control back, but that was gradually lost as the thing gained speed. Fiddle around with different tyres/ratios and you should find something you’re happy with…:smiley2:

this is getting out of hand… now i’ve heard everything. Speakers?!?
To answer TallduDe’s question, the parts you refer to are guide rollers (for bit racer), and the tool with the logos on it removes the shell from chassis, pops the heat sink, removes the pinion from the motor, and the last part i think is for bit racers, but i found handy for opening the pcb lid…:smiley2:

fairly new to it all myself… about four months now, my first car being a 27MHz white Skyline…
the chassis went toes up a couple of months ago, while the shell died only last night(who let my flatmates dog in the house, anyway?) All other cars’n clones going sweet as a nut…
And like 8ch Ess Vee I was too was bitten by the bug!!:smiley2:

handy to know those axles are useful… how much did you grind off (the part that holds the axle, opposite the gear) to make it fit??
