I’m pretty sure I got mine at HLJ.com.
I own all of the motors too, and I use all of them, depending on where I’m driving. You don’t want a really fast motor on a track, because you’ll shoot straight through the turns and “gas mileage” goes way down. If you’re in an open area and not racing (other than drag), you’ll be more into using the higher speed motors.
But I’m constantly switching motors depending on the environment :D, so you may want to think about that too.
A good motor/gear assortment is GREAT, if you can find a track with a lap counter. It can be a LOT of fun TESTING and finding the quickest combination! (as a hint, you’ll probably notice it won’t be the fastest motor OR gear that gets the best time)
I have all of the Tomy Kits and Motors.
The drifter wheels come with the suspension kit and what you’ll notice with the different suspension mods the the turning radius changes. I like the gears, myself.
I heard to go with about 8 inches
Your right bro… that does look pretty good! The Murcielago’s shape is nice, and I think it looks sharp in the lambo set
Thanks Aaron!
They both look pretty good, DarkTari. I was looking for something more like the milliput, but I’m hoping this stuff from Squadron works as well.
I ended up Squadron Plastic Putty for this project. I’ll let everyone know how it works once I start working with it.
I’m saying the Gloria, because it’s the only shell I don’t have at this point (not including the new Super bits)
How could they make the Enzo? It’s got such a wierd shape to it, I don’t know if it’d look right on a bit.
I was actually told yesterday by someone I know that there is one in my area. I’d love to pull up next to it. He said the Warranty is void if you don’t use Graphite Motor Oil, and I guess it’s like $60 a quart!!!… I thought my Mobil 1 was bad
How’d it work for you VR-4? I used it on my Evo (thanks for the compliment by the way Barto :smiley2:) and it was cool for that job, but I’m just not sure how well I could shape it to transform a Fairlady to an M Coupe.

I’m thinking I should be able to do it pretty well, but the putty I used on the Lancer was pretty sticky and kind of tough to work with.
That’s why I’m hoping for some input.
In Microsizer PROs, three are 27MHz and three are 49MHz.
I like running with the Lancer EVO VII, or my Impreza STi, but I’m into WRC, so that’s my reasoning more than anything else.
Also, in the US, Microsizer Pro Series has the boost option. They cars available are the Lancer, S2000, Toyota bB, Celica, Skyline, and RX7. Each kit comes with a painted and clear body. Very cool kit!
8 cars at once would be RAW! and you could use the 9th as a pace car or emergency vehicle.

They aren’t boosted!?! I thought they had two buttons on top of the controller? Is that just a Design thing?
LOL… did you see how they made them CLOSE to F1 style, but not quite. The Bimmer has a solid stripe in the front instead of the painted grills and says “Compare” instead of “Compac”. And the Mercedes has “Davis” instead of “David” which is what they usually put on toys instead of West.
Thanks bro… it’s too close to stop now!:smiley2:
I used to collect Nut Crackers… Got one every year for like 10 years
Does the transponder need to be powered? I’d throw it low next to the battery unless it needed to be accessed often. Otherwise I’d just throw it under the roof.
Keep in mind… there is still plenty of work to be done to this course… just giving everyone a taste.
Also… the hill don’t show up too well in the picture.
Make sure you do a LOT of bit testing before doing too much work. I had a track almost complete before finding out that the cars could at most make one lap before the batteries were too low to climb.
On my finalized track, I used Metal Screen from Home Depot and coated it with Plaster
Look here at the overall result.
I’ll have to find a way to get video
It’s awesome to drive on. With a 2.2 and boost, there are sections you CANNOT climb without the turbo button. 1.0 is fine the whole way because of the extra torque. The last turn on the technical side is actually a little too agressive. The cars actually bottom out on the hill if you take it wrong. I love it, because the your speed usually carries you through, but you can get thrown off course.
The walls, although beautiful to look at, have a rubber like plastic coating, that causes the cars to stick if you hit them. But… the track is wider than my last, and you’re not supposed to be on the wall anyway.
All in all… so far, I’m VERY happy with the overall result.
I’ll try to get a gallery dedicated to the track, so I can get some low pictures showing a better view of the actual terrain. It looks VERY flat in the pic compared to real life!
What do you think so far?
